Stayed here for 3 nights in January. I had a suite which was very spacious and luxurious. The staff very very friendly and helpful. There is a choice of restaurants attached to the hotel, I can recommend them both. Would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay again if I returned to Vancouver.

A friend and I stayed here for a short vacation (concert and sightseeing) and had a wonderful stay. The room was on the petite side, but that added to the Bistro/European feel of the place. The location was excellent and the room was very clean, and we were able to walk to most places (including the concert venue) easily and...

The room was just OK, very small for 3 of us, few plug ins, shower pressure very minimal, front desk didn't call when credit card was left there and house keeping arrived at 830 am. Good if you are just looking for a decent place in a great location

Simple and somewhat small rooms but clean and well lit. Staff was very friendly and the parking is great. Well priced and a super location. Their restaurant is excellent and the sports bar attached has a fantastic selection of beers and HDTV's everywhere.

I stayed 2 nights at the Moda last week and was pleasantly surprised! Although the room (jr room) was on the smaller size, the bed was superbly comfortable. I had room 231 and for the price, I could not ask for more. There was some renos going on in the halls, but they kept it very clean and quiet. Staff...

My fiance and I were in Vancouver celebrating our engagement for one night and opted for the Moda Hotel. Our initial booking was the Deluxe Queen breakfast promo, which included a 20 dollar voucher towards the restaurant downstairs. Upon arrival, the staff (Miguel and Marie) were very friendly and attentive. Check in was very quick and our room was already...

Perfect location for rambling around Vancouver. Felt close to all amenities by it's centralised location. Really friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms and good food! Fantastic value for money and was the perfect hotel for my girlie few days in this great city.

We recently spent 4 nights in Vancouver for a conference. The conference hotel was the Four Seasons and prices were outrageous. Since we weren't planning on sitting in a luxurious room our entire stay, we looked for somewhere more affordable. We chose The Moda. As it turns out, the conference is half way between the two hotels, so it wasn't...

Just got back from Via Rail trip[The Canadian] to Vancouver and back. Booked the Moda through Via and was extremely pleased with the staff, the room, the terrific location [minutes walking from Granville and Georgia, Gastown, Robsonstrasse etc.] Food very good but prices on the high side. Having said that, except for one meal stuck with the dining room and...

This is a very reasonably priced hotel, especially in the downtown area. A block off Granville where you can easily catch bus, skytrain, taxi's, etc. to get to other areas of Vancouver. Close to Robson and other great shopping. Wonderful & various resteraunts nearby as well as a great wine bar and food right in the hotel. They even take...

Staying in Granville Street

Neighbourhood Profile
Granville Street
Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
