Robson Street
Robson Street is a shopper's paradise. Whether a window shopper or a serious trendsetter, a fashionista or a dabbler, the crowd of independent boutiques, quirky one-off shops, and well-known luxury brands on Robson Street have something to cater for every itch in your wallet. As a result, it draws a diverse crowd, and the people-watching along this famous walking thoroughfare is a primary attraction. In between the clothing shops both high-street and budget-friendly are a number of cafes to lay down your load, as well as numerous specialty stores ranging in their wares from music, to art, to city souvenirs. Known as "Vancouver's Runway," if a new trend is on the rise, you'd spot it here first.

Very clean, older room. No parking however they parked us at the Sandman. Can’t beat the location and price. Staff was courteous and beds were comfortable. Many restaurants and pubs within walking distance.

I always stay here when in Vancouver. They have great prices but the hotel is also amazing in many other ways, including cleanliness, wonderful location (in a quiet area yet close enough to walk to the skytrain station and many attractions), friendly and helpful staff, and much

I really enjoyed my stay here! We were here for 2 nights, and we were both pleasantly surprised. Super clean, very comfy. Nice linens. I also love that when you stay here, you are helping fund some truly imprtant programs. We were on the 12th floor facing BC Place, and it was so

From my experience, VISA debit is treated differently by vendors than a straight credit card. However, I do not know about how they handle that at the Y Hotel. Just ask them. They are very accomodating so I don't think that it will be a problem. Good luck!

Just coffee and it's not very good. There is a Tim Hortons close by as well as restaurants within walking distance

The neighbourhood is safe, directly across from the stadium. The cruise ship area is close enough to walk to, and transit is easy.

I had a large suitcase and I took the SkyTrain. YVR is a terminal stop, so you shouldn't have to worry about getting onto a train full of people. The cars are wide; I believe it was built for the Winter Olympics.

Is there parking?
Yes, the YWCA has an on premise underground parking lot. The number of stalls is limited and when I make my hotel reservations I always request parking as well. The parking rates are a steal (I believe under $20 per day). If you check out other parking rates, they are approaching the $30-$40 per day range.
