A standard hostel. Good private bathrooms. Much quieter than others I've stayed in in Vancouver. Also this particular location is the best HI in town. My first room the AC was broken and it was BOILING, but they were more than happy to move us...More
I stayed here after trying to find a reasonably priced hotel in downtown Vancouver and couldn't find anything under 300$. This hostel was half the price for a private room with two beds and our own bathroom. Still expensive for a Hostel, but that weekend...More
Location is close to Davie village which is cool, but not as close to downtown as some might like. Rooms were clean enough, bathrooms are old school hostel: rows of toilet cubicles and tiny showers. Not bad but not as modern as some.
Hotel prices are high in vancouver, at least that's what I think. To cut the cost a bit, chose this hostel, booked a room with private bathroom. I still think with a bit overpriced rooms. Small room, stuffy, clean enough bathroom. Didn't visit the dorms...More
Dirty- no air con- terrible customer service- and we saw two (let's just say) "pests" on the same floor as the kitchen. Stayed here for 10 nights and probably had 1 good nights sleep. Seriously Samesun is a lot better

Granville Street spans many, multiple city blocks and has become so fastidiously known for its nightclubs and watering holes that it's fondly nicknamed the city's 'Entertainment District.' Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular and lively, with young revelers taking to the streets in droves and keeping the party going until late. Granville Street, being mostly open to pedestrian-only traffic, has a healthy
social life along its main thoroughfares, even outside of its cafes and pubs, spilling onto the sidewalks. The locals are chatty, the shops at its expansive Pacific Centre Mall are trendy, and the whole area seems to be on a sugar rush: in a good way. Exuberance and camaraderie classify this neighbourhood.
Hello, we left our luggage there just after check out for a few hours only. There is a small room for our luggages. Unclear whether hostel would allow you to store luggages over a few days.My suggestion: travel light!
