I stayed here for two nights while in Vancouver for work. As I was attending a conference at UBC, I wanted to be as close as possible to campus. The West Coast Suites was perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotless. The wifi was good. The room comes with a small fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, pots...

Large, quiet suite with balcony and full kitchen on the beautiful UBC campus. Free wifi, free long distance in North America, a comfortable bed, and excellent service--all for a very reasonable price--make this a an excellent choice for visitors to Vancouver. No connection with UBC is required to stay here. My only reservation is the lack of nearby restaurants other...

We needed a night for an early morning appointment at UBC Hospital. This was perfect, a 10 minute straight line walk to UBC Hospital. Parking is $10/extra, but is right out front and as it is a pass has in and out privileges. Room is great for 2, but could sleep 4 in the living room hide a bed. Downsize...

Hotel is mixed in with residences and dorms so is difficult to find. Unique that it also shares a lobby with the University. Once in the room however it was nice, spacious with a kitchenette and bedroom off the main living room area.

Lodging of any type is expensive in Vancouver, and not much is available near the UBC campus. These suites are clean, convenient and reasonable in terms of cost. Students man the registration desk, and there is no concierge. The suites are spacious, and well maintained. You may have trouble finding the place, and getting to and from the suites in...

UBC is located a long way from downtown hotels. Accommodation near or on campus has always been a challenge. Of course, most university accommodations are great for 18 year old first year students -- and terrible for adult travellers. West Coast Suites is a major exception. The rooms are large, well-appointed, with large and comfortable beds and very clean. I...

I don't know where to start..the hotel is so poorly signed. It has no lighting, come in at night you won't know where to check in. The desk clerk, and I use this term lightly, was so rude it was embarrassing. It seems as those students are running this hotel as some type of an experiment, however I wasn't happy...

Do ask for a room looking into the courtyard as the outside rooms can be noisy. The rooms are large and the main bed is comfy, with good quality sheets. You are on a very large student campus and right next to a huge student housing complex (Gage Towers) so be prepared to be amongst a young and active population....

These suites are right on the UBC campus. The kitchens are well appointed. The bedroom features a king size bed and there is a hide-a-bed if you need it. Parking is an extra $10/night. Stayin on the UBC campus means you have a bit of a drive to get to the rest of Vancouver. This place is ideal if you...

Our suite had a sitting area, kitchen (no oven), and king sized bed in the bedroom and bath. It was clean and the WiFi worked well except for the need to keep signing in. The kitchen had dishes, water boiler, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans and silverware. We made breakfasts and lunches there. There was no air conditioning which...
