Discover Victoria at its finest through an authentic local experience in the heart of downtown, steps from the Inner Harbour. With deeply entrenched roots in the local community and a strong sense of environmental responsibility, we strive to share all that makes Victoria special with each and every guest. Our owner, Mr. Clive Piercy, has a long history on Vancouver Island that began when his grandfather started J. Piercy & Co. back in the mid-1800s. To this day, we remain true to those origins in all that we do - from supporting local farmers to sponsoring local events. Our rooftop grill has been voted in the top ten restaurants with a view in BC, and our cocktail lounge off the lobby has been named one of the top ten hotel bars in the world three times. Experience the best of Victoria through a truly local hotel.

This is our second visit to Chateau Victoria and it will not be the last. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff is very accommodating, the rates are cheap when you consider the location..... which is the best in the city.

The Chateau was a treat. A martini while peering over the city, high up in Vista 18, was a fun and breath-taking way to start my stay. There were lots of small touches that made me feel well cared for, from the pots of coffee available in the lobby each morning to the reception

We thought this was an excellent choice for our visit to Victoria. This Chateau Victoria Hotel is one several hotels and apartments about two blocks east of Victoria's harbor that seem to have been built in the 1970s. The good news is that they, are particularly this hotel,

When you pay close to $450 a night you except a clean room. Not to find someone else's clothing and Bobbie pins all over the floor. Not worth the price for what you get. Location was the best part of the whole place.

Hi, Kristine P! Thank you for your questions about our hotel. The fitness area and pool are open from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm daily. As others on this thread have noted, our hotel does not provide its own shuttle to the YYJ airport but we can make a reservation for you through a local company that services most downtown Victoria hotels. When pre-arranged, the cost is CAD $22 one way or $41 round trip. We hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you back to Victoria in the near future. Hi kmn58, Thank you for your question! We have three parking levels available and charge CAD $15.00 per vehicle per day (with in-and-out privileges). Please know, however, that we offer a 50% discount on this rate for guests who book directly through our onsite reservations team or official website booking engine. We look forward to welcoming you in the fall! Our location is also very walkable. Best regards, Wesley MacInnis Marketing & Sales Coordinator

Can you book a room with breakfast included ie executive suite
Hi ACanadianView, Thank you for your question. We have beautiful penthouses (one- or two-bedrooms) available on our 16th and 17th floors, and we do offer a full room-service menu (breakfast is a popular in-room meal), but we do not currently offer room rates that include the cost of food & beverage. In practice, there is little difference because guests usually settle room service charges and the cost of their stay in one payment at checkout. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly with any further questions or to make a reservation at the best available rate. Best regards, Wesley MacInnis Marketing & Sales Coordinator

Hi Kathy R, Thanks for your question. If you plan to stay at our hotel and the Clipper ferry is your preferred method of transportation, then, absolutely, the best value for you would be to reserve a hotel and ferry package through Clipper Vacations. Please know, however, that not all of our rooms and suite types are available through Clipper Vacations. If you have alternative transportation to our hotel and you like to discuss the rooms and rates available directly through our hotel, please do not hesitate to contact our reservations team. Phone: 1.250.382.4221 Toll-free: 1.800.663.5891 (Full contact information available on our TripAdvisor profile) We hope to have the opportunity of welcoming you to Victoria in the near future! Kind regards, Wesley MacInnis Marketing & Sales Coordinator

"Choose a higher floor to view the city from a balcony"
"We picked room configuration over the views (the right choice for us), but if you really want a view ask for one of the harbor."
"Higher floors have great views of the Inner Harbour. Lots of windows so rooms are nice and bright."
"Try to get one on the front side with a city view."
"Higher the better, less noise."
