This hotel has an excellent location to everything in town and was two blocks up from the Pacific Coach Bus Terminal, which was the service we used to get over to the island from Vancouver. The room was clean, tidy and nicely furnished (even had an iron/ironing board). The bathroom was small but by no means a deal breaker. After...

Strategically located in Downtown that’s near everything and everywhere. The exterior appears like a Victorian age building and the interior is classy and nice. But rooms are too, basic with not much to offer (we booked 2 rooms for one night only).

Stayed on 4th floor overlooking volleyball court/rooftop restaurant so we dealt with a lot of noise but we were so tired after walking all day we fell asleep with no problem. Room was very tiny but had an authentic feel and was clean. Dealt with some rowdies on our floor coming in very early in the morning drunk and yelling...

Strathcona Hotel is centrally located in Victoria. It is a Victorian building so the rooms are on the small side but the whole hotel is very clean. The front desk staff are friendly, efficient and helpful and make a good first impression. There are 2 bars which we didn't try. The included breakfast is a continental breakfast and I would...

The Strathcona is within walking distance of everything in downtown Victoria. Shopping, restaurants, sightseeing, museums are right around the corner. Complimentary breakfast is a nice touch. The rooms are huge and have recently been updated. The hotel can be very noisy as there are several restaurants and bars connected to the property. Bring your earplugs. The walls also seem to...

Michelle M, Thank you for your review. Yes we are in a busy part of downtown Victoria and noise can be an issue but that goes along with the great location and the very reasonable Hotel room rates we offer.

Great location and handy to a few interesting bars below. The staff were friendly and the rooms were sufficient for somewhere to sleep and shower. Not somewhere to stay if you're looking to stay indoors all day-perfect for people wanting a decent place to leave their things and rest their head while they explore the city

While the staff are very polite and the location is excellent, sadly this hotel is the noisiest I've have ever been in and that includes Las Vegas! The staff tried to be accommodating by moving us to another room. Sadly, all this did was try to eliminate the 2am noise coming from the nightclub below. The comings and goings of...

Palapa. Thank you for taking time to send your review. Yes we have a great staff and yes we are a very busy establishment. We have added double thermal windows, solid core doors and have tried some other noise reducing products and will continue to do so. I do hope the rest of your time in Victoria was enjoyable.
