I would have no issues recommending this hotel. It's beautiful and the rooms are comfortable (we stayed in two very different rooms). The bathrooms and the TV sets could be improved, but it was a nice stay.

Absolutely fantastic bed and linens; love sinking into a comfy bed. High ceilings, lovely architecture, and spacious rooms for a heritage hotel. Staff was very efficient and friendly. Wish I had more time to stay to enjoy the lounge; it looked lovely. Coffee service to the room in the morning was very welcome and part of the room price!

I really enjoyed my recent stay at the Fort Garry. The staff were obliging and nothing was too much bother. This is a classic old style hotel where the customer comes first. The food is excellent and not too expensive. The hotel is ideally located if you are interested in exploring Winnepeg which,is a charming friendly city, and everthing is wwithin...

This is a beautiful peace of turn of century architecture, well and tastefully upgraded. As it is in a very busy area, get the valet parking, only $5 more than regular. The area is now opened up to a variety of Eat street dining trucks, should be good. This would be a good place for a summer weekend central spot...

We've stayed at this hotel a few times over the past few years and it has always been a great stay. No fridge or microwave in the rooms but they include a very nice coffee service to your room. We always enjoy going down to the lounge for a drink in the evening and the breakfast is wonderful.

I stayed at this hotel while attending a conference there. A nice looking hotel outside and inside. There are several conference rooms and our conference used 3 large conference rooms. Just like the exterior, the conference rooms are gorgeous with older architecture style. Detail everywhere including the ceilings! Great venue for any event. The rooms are nice with a design...

This hotel is a a grand old hotel with extraordinary common spaces. Be sure to wonder around the hotel to the ballrooms to see some of the wonderful old architecture. They don't make them like this anymore. The hotel is also centrally located in Winnipeg with easy access to the whole city. It is also a short walk to the...

Very large hotel with lots of history. The lobby area is very nice and the exterior well preserved. Front desk staff were very quick and efficient during check-in. Had a room on the 9th floor with a good view of the train station and the new museum. The room was nice, although the décor felt somewhat dated, but that added...

Looks impressive but rooms definitely need a makeover. Paint coming of walls, faulty electrics i.e. lamps didn't work. The lounge area/bar at ground level was good and the service was also good so if they can spend more on the rooms would be a good hotel.

My boyfriend and I have stayed at The Fort Garry Hotel multiple times in the past couple months and I must say our experience was nothing short of amazing. The front desk staff is always very friendly and accommodating and has upgraded us to a nicer room on several occasions. When my boyfriend and I were celebrating a special occasion...
