The location of the hotel was very bad and the hotel is very outdated. They make you pay $10 for parking for one day, and I honestly didn't even know if my car would get broken into or not. Did not feel safe while bringing shopping bags back into hotel. Did not feel safe walking outside of the hotel to...

I am based in Dubai and was visiting Winnipeg for the first time, I was originally booked to stay at the Best Western but moved the booking to Hotel Royal Plaza because of practically a 25% lower pricing and similar reviews. This hotel is a wonderful East Indian family run hotel where they really show care for thier guests. If...

They've managed to cancel my booking two weeks before my arrival to accommodate other guests. They're not trustworthy. If you're going to the Hotel Royal Plaza, try to book elsewhere too because you never know when they'll decide to cancel your booking.

I've stayed at the Hotel Royal Plaza over the Grey Cup weekend and can't complain for under $200 for 2 nights in a limited hotel market. Given I didn't book until July when rooms we're less available for location and price I wanted. The room was a little rough on the edges with cheap furniture, dated bathroom and cheap model...

Noticed my bed was full of bed bugs when I woke up, about a day later my chest and face are covered in bites. The hotel staff did nothing when I notified them of this. Do not go to the hotel if you value your health.

I was greeted with a very warm and courteous welcome. Provided with chai and food upon my arrival and treated like a guest in a home. My room was much more than I had expected for the price I paid; Wi-Fi, king size bed, a/c, blow dryer, complimentary toiletries, continental breakfast! I was blown away. The staff took the time...

I like the location which was really near to downtown. The price was affordable with good breakfast included. The room I got on 2nd floor was clean as well as the bathroom. The only thing I wish they could do better was the WiFi quality.

Stayed here in February 2015 and enjoyed our stay very much. The hospitality from the owners was exceptional (who even helped us out when we had some car troubles.) The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. There is also a good restaurant attached. Highly recommended for the budget category. Make sure you have good directions as street names can change.

I was treated like family and the food was great. They were very accommodating and fed me and my friend at midnight, even though the restaurant was closed. Each staff member was really friendly and the owner was so motherly and amiable. Shoutout goes to the two Sunnys and Neesha! I was here for a conference.
