Nice place and great staff. Good for lunches and breakfast. The best cod and fries in town. The staff is very friendly and sensitive. What more is there to say. It is not possible to complete the at least 200 signs review as requested by tripadvisor before this review can be posted which i honestly feel is ridiculous when in...

A very disappointing experience! As part of a party of 4 complete for a reservation for Brunch at 1pm on a Sunday, we arrived an were seated after a10 min wait. We were served coffee after half another hour wait and menus orders were taken. An hour after our arrival, 3 out of 4 of us got our food. I...

I really liked the well-designed, if small, room. The bed was comfortable, the Keurig coffee machine a welcome addition given the not-so-great coffee one is sometimes served in NL. The air-conditioning was noisy and so was the street. Apart from that, it was an excellent location, even if the room looked out on an ugly parking lot. The corridors were...

We stayed here for one night during our stay in St. John's and our room was just amazing. I believe it was #204. It's basically one huge room and there is a separate, large bathroom. The main room has a wall of windows that face out to Water Street, which is great if you enjoy watching people like we do....

Really liked this place for drinks, the large glass windows and open patio are awesome. Service was questionable as it was tough to get a drink. Washrooms and decor are trendy and clean over all. It was quite noisy so be be prepared for this. I hear the rooms are really cool to stay in and the restaurant apparently has...

My wife, adult daughter, and I stayed at Blue on Water in July 2013 and were very pleased with the accommodation and the helpfulness of the staff. It is a bit disconcerting at first that there is no parking at the hotel, although there is a private lot next door that one can use for $25/night. We were fortunate, however,...

We each ordered a salad and an appetizer of scallops in the lounge and it took 2 hours to get 2 appetizers. The scallops were very good. The beef carpaccio was ruined by too much lettuce. Let the beef speak for itself. Beaitiful restaurant, waiter was amazing but kitchen is way too slow. Only go if you have all night...

You know this will be a different experience when the sign says " Hotel Guests check in at the bar". Which we do. Prompt and efficient but they do make you sign and acknowledegement that you will be evicted for any noise after 11 PM or for an unregistered guest in the room. Interesting I ordered a king suite room...

We spent 3 nights at the beginning of our vacation then the last two nights. We enjoyed the stay Blue on Water very much. Our room and bathroom were very large and well equipped, full shower, soaking in the room you have two couches and king size bed. Checking is very European, therefore you check in where the bar is....

Stayed there for 3 nights and found the room to be great with a super comfy bed. The air conditioner was a little noisy but not so much that it was disruptive. Only ate breakfast at the restaurant but it was fantastic.
