Fabulous hosts, comfy beds, yummy breakfast and great location! Loved the porch too! This is the perfect place to stay in Digby!! We stayed over one night on a mission to deliver a Digby family tree to the Admiral Digby Museum. We experienced Digby scallops, a wonderful walk to the fishing wharf, a visit to Marshall's - the local gift... More

Thank you for sharing your experience here in Digby and at the Bayside Inn. It was an honour to have a real live descendent of Admiral Digby stay with us and we are sure the museum appreciated the donation of your family tree information leading up from Admiral Digby. We hope you will visit again to enjoy more of what... More

Three generations myself, my daughter & my granddaughter stayed at the Bayside Inn overnight recently. We found the owners to be welcoming & interesting. The rooms were delightful and although late in the season a fabulous place position wise to stay.

We had no itinerary and were glad to find something off season still open in Digby. We were greeted by one of the kind owners who took us to our room which was pretty and made sure everything was ok. Very quiet too. Being a B&B we were served a delicious breakfast in a charming room which faced the harbor.... More

My husband and I stayed in Room #1 for 2 nights during our 2 week trip through the 3 Maritime providences. Don and Denise were extremely nice and helpful. Our room was a good size with a comfy queen bed. Our bathroom was extremely large, with a chair. We had a large picture window with a lovely view of the... More

We traveled with an older couple through the Maritime Provinces late September to late October. The fellows were reluctant about staying at any B&B. However, as we had not booked any hotels during our travels and were flying daily by the seat of our pants, we ended up in Digby for the night. There were few vacancies in the area,but... More

We enjoyed our stay with Don and Denise very much. Both were very welcoming, engaging and informative about the area. The room had a wonderful view and the king bed was really comfortable. The bathroom and decor needs to be updated but that will probably happen as the proprietors have only owned the B&B since April.

My host, Don, was super nice, gave me knowledgeable advice on where to visit in Nova Scotia, knew a lot about the history of Digby. Rooms are comfortable, and the house is nice and quirky. Breakfast was great (homemade blueberry pancakes and crispy bacon).

Location was great...within walking distance of restaurants, shopping or just walking. Had a great view of the ocean and marina. The rooms were spotless and beautifully put together. Quiet. Huge bathroom Loved the big tub but it could be a drawback for anyone with mobility issues. Had to be careful getting in and out. They serve a modest but tasty... More

Thank you for your positive review of your stay at the Bayside Inn! Our Inn was built in 1885 and was designed so that all rooms start on the 2nd floor (one flight of stairs). I think this is common for most B & B's. We are considering putting in a main floor guest room in the near future. We... More

Our mother/daughter trip throughout part of the east coast of New Brunswick, in to Nova Scotia, down the east coast of NS and eventually over to Digby to catch the ferry, landed us at the Bayside Inn. We were only there one night, but had a beautiful view of the harbor, close proximity to restaurants and a lovely breakfast. This... More

We stayed here one night while we were on a road trip of southern Nova Scotia and wished we could have stayed longer!! The view of the harbour, the innkeepers, the breakfast and the comfortable rooms were only some of the reasons why we enjoyed our stay so much. The building is especially clean yet quaint! The location is terrific... More
