Fun place to be during the weekends of the summer. Here, it's not about the sex, sexuality or the naked people at pool (or walking around everywhere) it's friendships formed with the people that frequent the place... and even some who don't that show up more than a weekend or two. It's probably better financially to day trip through the... More

a unique camping experience available iin hotel type rooms, rustic cabins, your own travel trailer or even a tent. The naturist resort offers an olympic sized pool, swim up outside bar and hot tub and for the colder months an indoor pool, hot tub an sauna. Friday nights offers karioke, with a D.J or band dance most Saturday nights. A... More

I visit only a couple times each year but enjoy it every time. I tend to go thru the week which is less busy. The pool is close to Olympic size, tends to be coo, but perfect for cooling off and swimming lengths, also has a volleyball setup at one end. There a lots of lay down sun chairs, bring... More

The Ponderosa is a lovely place with plenty to do. 4th season here and love the people, the facilities, and the comaradery amoung everyone. Food and drink prices are very reasonable and good quality. The owners are very flexible if there should be an issue with anything. Just make them aware. Recommend it to anyone. .. new or seasoned nudists.

Fairly new to the naturist movement but being less than an hour away from here it was only a mater of time before I gave it a try. Having been to Hanlon's point I was not a complete newbie but I had my reservations still. My visit was for the day only however I do plan on returning for an... More

That total resort feeling. Our room was clean and had all that we needed. The shared bathroom was not even an issue. The evening entertainment was great. The weather was good, the pools are refreshing, the swim up bar is a great way to meet other people and the mixed drinks were delicious. The food was filling and the portions... More

My partner and I have discovered that we enjoy this type of thing and have found a great place down south. We were hoping there would be some place comparable to it in Ontario. While this place is still a bit rustic it's a lot better than the other option close to Toronto. We look forward to returning. Just a... More

We are annual members of the resort, and visited Feb 28th for a swim and sauna. To our surprise, the pool was not heated since grouting repairs earlier in the week. The resort facilities closed for the first 2 weeks of January, so I would have expected scheduled maintenance to happen then. In addition to the lack of swimming pool,... More

Great "naturist" park, but more so, clothing optional. The downside is that too many use that option to just "take a peek" with no intention of trying naturism. The upside is if your partner plain out refuses to go to a naturist park for fear of having to be naked, then, here you have the option to take him/her to... More

“Ask for a large room with a king size bed, pay the extra cost; you won't spend much time in your room at this resort but when you do you'll enjoy the extra space. Also request non feather pillows, if you have allergies. Unlike years ago there are two full bathrooms on the second floor now so there's not much waiting around for a shower like it was before.”
