On short notice decided I needed to spend the night in Leamington. Decided based on a quick glance at reviews and a deal on Expedia that this place would do the trick. Sadly, I was disappointed with that decision. Here's my overall opinion: Front desk clerk was friendly. Room had overpowering smell that was almost suffocating. Like must covered up... More

Backroad road tripping on the way home from Detroit, after going to a Kenny Chesney concert, and wanted a place to crash for the night. This is a huge step up from the chain places such as Best Western, Comfort Inn, Days Inn, etc. A warm welcome at reception and extremely clean! No breakfast or pool but for a place... More

We stayed two nights; had a "queen room" on the ground floor. Room was quiet, comfortable and decently spacious. Everything worked. Good access to nearby attractions and shopping. Check-in/out fast and friendly. Only quibbles: a lack of ice and parking can be a little tight. Reasonably priced.

My wife and I stayed here in early July for an overnight. Check in was quick and easy and the desk clerk was very polite. The room was very clean, and had a nice decor. Flat screen TV with a good selection of channels! The location was close to downtown and Pelee National Park, where we were headed. Only drawback... More

Stayed for one night in Leamington, to be close to an early morning in Kingsville the next day. We've stayed in Leamington before at other properties, and this is the best one we've had -- nice surprise. It's a motel-type set-up, with parking right in front. (and quite -- didn't hear anyone all night)It appeared the room had been recently... More

The lady who checked me in was very pleasant and very apologetic for my issues. The first room was supposed to be non-smoking, but stunk of cigarette smoke. I got another room that was better, but the toilet was not cleaned, so I grabbed some of the alcohol wipes and tissues and cleaned it a bit before I used it,... More

Went to Leamington for an over night an got the Jacuzzi Suite at the Talbot Trail Inn. It is tucked in the corner and is quite large. The Jacuzzi area is in a living area with a TV, chairs, and tables. The bedroom area has a TV and all of the amenities that come with a standard hotel room. The... More

Perfectly acceptable spot. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Our only real complaint was the abundance of super-firm, foam block pillows and no alternate choice. We booked the "Presidential Suite" not realizing it was located up a steep set of outdoor stairs. We changed to a standard room with no reduction in the price. Heat/AC system is pretty noisy which... Clean, comfy, quiet and a reasonable price. We really appreciated that it was pet friendly as well. Kudos to management for running a hotel properly. Restaurant is awesome as well! Location is fairly central. You can be downtown in minutes.

Great price and comfortable stay. Park right in front of your room which is convenient. We booked at the last minute so didn't have room options (our room had a queen bed). Overall, it was simple and clean. I wish they had plates and cutlery available as they have a fridge and microwave. It would have made it easier to... More
