My sister in law, myself and 2 friends had a 1 night stay 21Mar24 and were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. I'm not sure how anyone could have issue with a stay here, I've been here a few times and have enjoyed every stay with all needs met. The rooms are a good size with comfy beds (they do not have rooms with 2 queen beds so king beds are separated into 2 singles), strong hot showers, quiet rooms with no outside noise getting in (lovely!) Staff are everything you could want or need, friendly, professional and concerned about taking care of you. Although in good weather its walkable from HH to restaurants and downtown, the shuttle is awesome (Bruce!) for bad weather times or "I want to have a few drinks" times🤪. Breakfast was delicious and more than expected, (my one suggestion would be switching out one or two of the white carb products for a couple whole grain items), and the ladies serving there are the morning sunshine we all need. Would recommend and will come again, thanks HH!

Hotel's Favourite
From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were impressed. Every staff member we dealt with was professional, friendly, and accommodating. Our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, quiet, and very comfortable. These are the things we expect when staying in a hotel. And this hotel delivered, well done. But really, it was the other things that set this hotel apart from others we have stayed at. A couple of cookies at check in, a souvenir shopping bag on the bed, wine glasses in the room, a wine and cheese reception (a nice way to meet some of the other guests), a shuttle service to the local restaurants so you can enjoy a beverage or three with supper, and a wonderful continental breakfast, among other things, made us wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back.

We first visited this hotel 18 years ago and had been back several times but not in 12 or so years. It was our "go to" for boutique luxury in Niagara. Not anymore, not much has changed since our last visit. Paid for one of the larger rooms but it was in dire need of updating. Cheap laminate floors, garbage/recycle bins just up against the wall and the 80's bathroom with the shell sink and the pre-fab plastic shower. Internet was terrible. This was the last stop of our 10 day road trip and it really missed the mark. Service was friendly but not outstanding.

What a lovely hotel. Located few blocks from Historic Old Town it is an easy walk to the shopping area. The rooms are charming, spacious and very comfortable. The service is excellent. The included breakfast reminded me of a homemade meal. I highly recommend this hotel!

I had stayed at Harbour House for two nights last October and was impressed by the quality of this boutique hotel and the excellent service. When I returned to Niagara-on-the- Lake for a funeral this month I immediately booked Harbour House and encouraged my travelling friends to do so as well. From the smiling faces upon check in, to the welcoming cookies and apples at the front desk, to the complimentary jars of local jam in my sumptuous room, I was greeted with warmth. The king sized bed was perfect and the walk- in shower and fireplace added to the comfort of the room. A complimentary tasty and hot breakfast with multiple offerings ensured guests got off to a great start each morning. What I really appreciated this time was the complimentary chauffer service to and from local area restaurants. Alison, our driver both evenings, was cheerful, courteous helpful and prompt even when we were returning to the hotel after ten pm. If you are looking for service and comfort in a small hotel within walking distance of the Shaw Festival and downtown, then look no further than Harbour House.

We have been so pleased with the Habour House From the moment we walked into the hotel it was warm and welcoming. Reception was lovely and the chocolate chip cookies a yummy bonus. Reception informed us they have a shuttle service to the restaurant we are going to this evening which is lovely perk. As well a welcome wine and cheese reception from 4-5 pm of a local vineyard to meet and greet other guests or just relax in the area while sampling the wine. Wine was very good and the cheese dip ( recipe provided at the site ) was lovely. We met and chatted with another couple and learned a few things to visit and other good restaurants in the area as they have been coming to the Harbour house for years. Our room was lovely, bright, big with comfortable king size bed and nice view of the lake as well had a fireplace and jacuzzi tub with bath robes provided. Another perk that they have provided is a contact through text that checks in on your stay offers suggestions of area and will answer any questions you have about the Habour house and area Parking provided for free another nice perk

We stayed at Harbour House on the recommendation of a friend, and he was right - it is a wonderful place. We stayed at the hotel for two nights with our dog. Some places accept dogs - Harbour House WELCOMES them! Our room was fresh and clean, beautifully appointed, AND it was set up with our dog in mind - a nice dog bed, a water and a food bowl, welcome treats, and doggie bags in case you forgot to bring some, The room for us was great - two very comfortable armchairs and a desk & chair and free wifi as well as the usual TV and small fridge. The included breakfast was delicious. Each morning there was lots of fresh fruit, two fresh-baked options and many choices of toast, loaf, croissants, house-made granola, etc. Most importantly the staff are outstanding. We were greeted with warmth and clear information. A highlight of our stay was the chauffeur, Alison. She took us to our restaurant and picked us up each evening with good humour, knowledge and enthusiasm for both the hotel and the town. She is also an excellent driver. I have an app on my phone that rates my driving (I get a discount on my insurance for safe driving) every time I am in a car. I then delete the ones where I was a passenger. Alison's driving hit 96% - a score I have never reached! It was tempting to keep her rating to improve my average - but I was honest :-). All in all a wonderful experience. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Lovely spot in NOTL. Beautiful hotel. Dog friendly which is wonderful. Breakfast was included and very good IF you don't have celiac. Few options and even though it's cooked in house no offer to quickly fry and egg or whatever. I think part of cooking for public consumption is to know about celiac and other serious allergies. Overall it is a lovely place to stay.

Have been staying at the Harbour House for years. It is quiet and quaint with a lovely homey feeling. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and spotless with lovely views no matter which side of the building you are on. It is off the beaten path so in a very quiet neighbourhood, nice to walk around, but is also close enough to walk to downtown from. Breakfast is included each morning and is delicious. The homemade granola is exceptionally good (ask for the recipe)! There is a free happy hour from 4:00 to 5:00 each day; a good way to meet other guests. There is a free shuttle van which will drop off and pickup in the old town. We always use it in the evening to go for dinner - very handy and prompt. This hotel is the best value for money in NOTL in my and my husband's opinion, which is why we go back every time.
