This place was such a great find. My girlfriend and I came up from the states on Canada's long weekend (not knowing) and with every B&B pretty much booked we stumbled upon Arcadia with the help of Chamber of Commerce. So glad it worked out this way! Steve and Kim were the best! Very comfortable people to be around and... More

This is a lovely place with clean and nicely furnished rooms, friendly and non-intrusive hosts, lots of beautiful spots to sit with a drink, a book, your thoughts, or a friend. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were able to generously accommodate our food preferences and restrictions. Close to all the activities but calmer than the tourist-packed centre of NOTL.... Just returned from an amazing stay at Acadia. The situation, in the idealic countryside just outside of the town proper allowed for amazing views, serenity and easy access to wineries and the town itself. Kim and Steve were wonderful hosts, providing us with tips and information for the area as well as a divine breakfast to set us up for... More

The Arcadia House B&B did not disappoint! Upon arriving at the beautiful Victorian home, our group of three couples were greeted by Kim and Steve who promptly helped us get settled in all three rooms that they have available. We had planned a biking wine/beer tour and Steve was very helpful with advising us on some great spots to try.... More

Once I arrived at the Arcadia House immediately it felt like Arcadia Home. Steve and Kim were wonderful hostesses, very accommodating. The "home" as we called it is beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfasts each morning were exceptional, so much detail to the look and the taste of the food. Any of our special needs were met with such delight!... More

We stayed here recently for one Sat. evening. We loved the house. We stayed in the Orchard Suite, although we really needed only one of the two bedrooms. It is very private, and our accommodations were comfortable. If you're in town for the Shaw Festival, you will not be able to walk to the theatres, but it is a short... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set on an acre of Green Belt land, surrounded by orchards and vineyards, Arcadia House is an elegant Victorian home upgraded with modern conveniences while retaining its original charm. We're a stone’s throw from the Niagara Escarpment (a UNESCO World Biosphere site), minutes from Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls, an 8-minute drive from the Shaw Festival Theatre, and a few minutes' bike ride from the 56-kilometre Niagara River Recreation Trail. After a day’s activity, there are plenty of ways to wind down before turning in for the night: sit and read in front of the gas fire in the lounge, soak in the hot tub under the stars, play a game of petanque on the lawn, or relax on the porch swing. We live in a separate wing of the house and the guest suites are quite separate from each other, assuring you of a quiet, private stay. If you like outdoor or cultural activities by day and quiet relaxation at night, this could be a good option for you. ... more   less
