My husband and I stayed for two nights at this wonderful B&B. We were in Niagara On The Lake to take in some of the wineries and take an afternoon wine tour. I chose Cecile's house for location as well as all the excellent reviews. We were not disappointed. Everything people as saying is so true. Chris the owner is...

My wife and I absolutely loved Cecile's. Great place to stay, great breakfast, great location, easy to get to Main St, close to several excellent restaurants and most of all a GREAT host. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

Niagara-on-the-lake is a quaint, classy place, so it follows that you would want to stay in an elegant b&b right near all the action. Cecile's place completely fits this mold and will make your stay perfect. We have stayed in a lot of places and this one stands out as being "crisp". I don't mean cold; I mean every detail...

We happened upon Cecile's on line and were very pleased. We stayed two nights with Chris, the proprietor. The house is exquisitely decorated and impeccably maintained. The breakfast is fantastic, too. Oh, and the location is so close to all of the shops on Queen Street downtown. All in all, a great place to stay.

We think this visit marks our 22nd stay with Chris Martineau, the magnificent proprietor at Cecile's. If there were a 10 star ranking, he would get it. Every touch is perfect, everything is thought of before you ask for it. Rooms are divine, quiet and pristine. Breakfasts are heavenly. The porch beckons you and his warm smile is always there to...

Very nicely restored old house in an historic neighbourhood, close walk to a fantastic view of the Niagara River/Lake Ontario and downtown. Walking a block to eat on the patio of the Niagara On the Lake Golf course is also recommended. Chris' breakfast is top-notch, particularly the homemade, fresh baked croissants!

I visit Niagara On The Lake and always stay at Cecile's House. It's best for couples. The house is very clean with French /Victorian style furniture and decor. Christian the owner is always at your service with a polite smile. Everytime I visit I feel like I'm in the movies lol.. Chris does the breakfast cooking. It's amazing to waking...

Entering Cecile House is an experience in beauty. It is furnished exquisitely and designed for the serene comfort of its guests. The living room is so lovely and comfortable and provides computer access and phone. The dining area and rooms are lovely as well. Best of all, owner, Chris, is a former chef and breakfasts are delicious. Chris lives on...

If there is a B&B Hall of Fame here in Canada, then Cecile's should enter on the first ballot. It meets and exceeds all of the attributes of the ideal B&B.If you get the opportunity to stay there, you will understand what I mean. After 13 annual visits,we continue to cherish our time spent there and look forward to our return.

Came back again and already made our reservations for next year. Interestingly, Chris changes up the rooms' decor each year so that you always have a pleasant surprise waiting for you. As another visitor said, "you would be hard pressed to find a flaw in the place". Not a speck of dust. Everything is in its most perfect, eye pleasing...
