We spend a couple of nights at this hotel. It was lovely to have such a spacious suite with the kitchen annex and even a coffee maker. The beds were amazing and we loved the choice of pillows. The a la carte breakfast was lovely and you can walk down to the Rideau Canal within minutes - or into town...

This place has been around forever but the management tried its best to make up for it. It is clean, the staff are friendly, and the rooms, although plain, are larger than normal, have lots of plugs, and havengood lighting.

Okay sadly this "used" to be one of my favourite hotels. I guess since i have not gave a review on it since 2008. It's beginning to be a bit "tired" and needs just a little refreshing. It still is a great location, but you pay for it, even with a special "pass" you still pay over $139 a night...

Don't let the clean look of the lobby fool you. Double bed rooms are spacious (20 feet by 12 feet). But there are only 2 lamps at the corners of the room so the room looks very dark. There's no ventilation in the bathroom, no thermostats. Worst things are the rooms we stayed in seemed to have paranormal activities. So...

The Holiday Inn on Cooper Street in Ottawa, Canada is an excellent location and one can easily walk to the major sites in the capital city. The staff was excellent, the room very spacious and included a kitchenette. We did not eat in the dining room, so I can not comment. With the great location we able to ealk to...

Hotel is not right at downtown, but very convenient, nothing fancy, but clean. The room is big, with 2 double beds, 1 sofabed and a kitchenette.

We've been here a few times now and love the whirlpool suite, the very good service and the yummy breakfast (eggs benedict). We walk down to the Chapters/Starbucks on Rideau and to the market to get Beavertails. During Winterlude, we skated the canal and had our Beavertails there.

I don't usually get mushy about a hotel but I will about this one. First I love Ottawa! Second I love staying at this Holiday Inn! The location is perfect! It's not the Ritz but I'm very comfortable and feel safe when I do stay there. I love the room, especially having the little kitchen. Everything is clean and neat!...

Stayed here with friends and family for three nights whie visiting Ottawa. Reception staff, and indeed all the staff were friendly and efficient. We all had similar rooms on the corner of the property. Rooms were large and easily accommodated my family of four. although the double beds were a little small...would be plenty of room for a king/queen. Room...

Travelling with family and requested a kitchenette. There was no bells or whistles here. Be sure to travel with paper cups, paper plates, napkins, and utensils. The fridge didn't have a freezer either. A little disappointed, not to mention we had to drive closer to the attractions.
