Our family of 5 had a fabulous time. We loved the location because we wanted to walk. The room was spacious even with all of us and it was spotlessly clean. We were very impressed with the attention to detail and all the extras. Our teenage boys loved the continental breakfast and the to-go bags. We ordered food up from Maclarens and not only was it convenient, everything was delicious and hot. We would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

The room was so spacious - separate bedroom with queen bed and 45" tv. Spacious bathroom with long counter. Kitchen with all amenities and living room with balcony. The hotel decor is a bit outdated and there's nothing plush about the ambience, but it is very clean and the amenities are spectacular. They even had clothing steamers (in addition to ironing boards) and Dyson blade fans in the room!
The breakfast is the best I've ever seen with the amount of variety and convenience. For $155/night, you absolutely can't argue the value. The location (easy walk to parliament and downtown markets) alone is worth the $155/night that we paid. Very happy with my stay.

Came for a weekend getaway and we could not be happier with this hotel. The hotel is a former apartment building so every room is really a full apartment. The suite was very clean. There is so much space including a full kitchen and living/dining area. Hotel staff and guests followed covid protocol. The grab and go breakfast had a lot of hot and cold food items and great variety. There is definitely something for everyone. The staff did a great job of monitoring people so the room didn't get too crowded. I also really appreciated that they have 3 sinks with soap and water in the main lobby for hand washing. The hotel is in a great location downtown. Everything is within walking distance. For families with children, there is a park with a basketball court and wading pool within a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend this hotel especially for families. It will be my go to from now on when visiting Ottawa.

We stayed on the August Civic holiday weekend. We have stayed here before and were quite happy with the location, the staff and the hotel. The hotel supplied hand sanitizer in all the public areas and had good signage to remind and explain their Covid rules. Check in was easy and the employee checking us in was very friendly. We were able to check in a few hours early which was wonderful.

The room was clean and spacious. The king bed was crisply made and comfortable. We did not use the full kitchen other than the fridge and the toaster. It's a help to have a computer in the room so we did not have to either forgo one or just use our phones. We like a bigger screen to browse the web. The TV was a large Sony Bravia with excellent picture and sound quality.

The included breakfast is now picked up and taken to your room. There were a lot of options. We liked the breakfast sandwiches (there are at least 3 types) and hashbrowns which were made fresh throughout the morning. There were also juices, yogurt, fruit ,hard boiled eggs, pastries, bagels, bread ,cereal, and great brewed coffee. Skip the line up for the toaster because you can use the one in your room. Grab a "to go" bag (water, cookies, a cereal bar and a couple candies) on your way out to see the sites.

All in all it was a great time and we will stay there again on our next visit to Ottawa.

Highly recommended! I must confess, I was a but skeptical when I booked this hotel but the reviews were good. After staying here I can share that, this is one of the most underrated hotels in Ottawa. Who would have thought converting Condos into a hotel would be cool? Lol. The entire concept is fantastic- rooms are spacious and customer service is top class and responsive. Good simple breakfast and helpful staff. I actually liked the fact that they had a kitchen and items for guests to cook. Provided me an option to save money rather than eat out.

Even my colleagues who stayed at the Fairmont in Ottawa during the same business trip wished they booked with Business Inn.. Being a small niche business is actually working in their favour as they can focus on what matters for clients, comfort.

This is the second time we stayed here. We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced it was the first time, considering all the amenities it offers, and it didn’t disappoint this time either. It’s hard to think of any cons about this hotel. The service is impeccable, location is central and absolutely fantastic and rooms are good sized and very comfortable and include kitchenette and balcony. Also, laundry is free and breakfast too (they even offer prepackaged water and snacks to take with you for the day) and best of all, it’s very, very affordable. After two great stays, this hotel will now be my go to in Ottawa and I won’t be wasting any time researching others.

The signature suites give sitting and dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom for a very reasonable price. Great for a visit in the summer with family. It is not luxurious, but is cheap, the breakfast is extensive with a large variety of food, and it is only a short walk from the government buildings. Friendly service.

You can feel how seriously the hotel manager/business owner has contemplated over satisfying customers. When you first step into the building, there are three hand wash sinks in the lobby which are clearly added after pandemic. Hand sanitizers everywhere. The building is old but sparkly clean. I personally think Keurig coffee machines are disgusting and never use it in public, but this one in our room looked like new. As you can see from my first picture, there are many complimentary services. Internet is free and SUPER fast. Staff are nice and super helpful. I feel like the hotel manager thought really hard about making customers feel comfortable. There are so many home appliances like the ones in my third picture, to the point it's funny. They put two fans on top of an air conditioner and an air purifier 😆. We even have a desktop with a pair of speakers and a printer. The only thing that can be a downside for this hotel is the age of the building and weird decoration. There are mix of antique and modern furniture that don't match, everywhere from the lobby to the rooms. I highly recommend staying in this hotel especially if you care about cost effectiveness over fancy and instagrammable places like me. Tons of restaurants, bars, cafe in 5 mins walk distance, parliament hill is about 20 mins walk.

Just got back from a weekend in Ottawa where we stayed at the Business Inn. We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and well equipped our room was. My Wife and I booked a Mini-Suite while friends of ours booked one of the much larger executive suites.

Our room was spectacularly clean. Well equipped with a kitchenette, large screen TV in the sitting area and a smaller tv in the bedroom area.

Sitting area had a stand alone computer and printer for use.

The hotel is centrally located to everything Ottawa has to offer. It's an easy 10-15 minute walk to Parliament hill, and it's situated on a main street that an abundance of great restaurants and pubs in the area. Lots of parks and things to see. Be sure to check out the BIRD and LIME scooters in the area to get around quickly for a reasonable price.

Continental breakfast was available every morning. bacon, sausage or egg sandwiches available along with yogurt, fruit, water and cookies. Great way to start every day.

Shower had tons of hot water and lots of power in the Waterpik head of the shower. No Mould or build up at all in the tub area.

Over all, the value of the the Business INN was fantastic. Very happy with our stay, and we'll defiantly be back again.

Staff were amazing when we were there too. Welcoming, friendly and warm. Everyone from the front desk to the maintenance staff.

Had a blast watching the Superbowl on a great biiiiiig! screen TV. Enjoyed the greatest food i'd ever had on a superbowl, EVER. Tony was a phenomenal host keeping everything intact from the food to drinks to responsibly keeping people from driving under the influence. All around awesome night. Greatest hotel experience I've had in my life. Me and my girlfriend were grateful to have such a spectacular fun night.
