I was able to spend a night at the Bard and Breakfast mid week while taking in some shows at the Festival. Elizabeth is a congenial hostess and very knowledgeable about the area. There are 2 rooms available with a shared bathroom plus a sitting room and sun room for the guests. A very relaxing stay while in Stratford and...

Spent one night at The Bard and Breakfast in September while visiting the Stratford Festival. It was a lovely bed and breakfast, very clean, and offered anything a traveller would need. It has two rooms available which are small but clean and cozy. It does have a shared bathroom which was not an issue during my stay at all. There...

This was our 5th or 6th visit and we were once again not disappointed! We are well traveled and have yet to encounter a better B&B experience. The attention to detail goes well beyond the accommodations. Liz, the owner, is knowledgable about the Festival, the season's plays, local restaurants, and much more. The Bard & Breakfast is an important part...

My experience at the Bard and Breakfast was excellent: the lovely host, Elizabeth, provided everything that one could need and more, leaving no detail forgotten. The beds were extremely comfortable, breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the location of this pretty property could not be better. All in all a terrific experience.

This 2 room B&B is located within short walking distance of the festival theatre. Very good breakfasts, very amiable host and beautiful gardens. We brought bikes which the host allowed us to keep in her shed instead of on our bike rack. Bike trails are close by. Only downside is a shared bathroom, but this didn't really cause any problems...

My daughter and I made a road trip to Ontario to relax and explore and we stayed three nights at the Bard and Breakfast. Both of the plays we saw were at the Festival Theatre which could not be more convenient to this B&B. We just crossed the street to the park and took a pleasant stroll for a few...

We came to Stratford festival for one night and stayed at Bard & Breakfast. We ended up renting Hamlet room where two beds were put together into one king bed. It worked out great. My husband and I love active vacations, so we do not spend too much time inside, we also do not mind walking. Some may find this...

This is our third stay at the Bard and Breakfast. This B&B is perfect. It's small (only two rooms, shared bath), literally three blocks from the Festival Playhouse, with fabulous cottage gardens in the front and back yard. The best part is Liz! She is an excellent hostess and so willing to please. We park our car and walk for...

We stayed for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed this small B&B with first-floor accommodations, shared spotless bathroom complete with fresh towels and quality bath products, wireless, parking and really, really good breakfast! But what made the stay was the hostess. Liz was knowledgeable, super efficient regarding any requests and/or questions and just a very nice person. We loved the short,...

We spent a couple of nights here to catch some Stratford shows at the end of a weeklong tour around SW Ontario. The house, and its owner, are delightful. The sitting room for guests has a small fridge and fixings to make tea. There is a pleasant sunroom at the front and a couple of seats on a small deck...
