Traveling from California to Stratford for the Shakespeare Festival is daunting and it is always a joy to arrive at the Stonemaiden Inn as our home away from home. We have been going to Stratford for over twenty five years and have seen the Stonemaiden through three owners - these being the best. We were there the first year they...

We try to get to the Stratford Festival at least once a year and always reserve well in advance so we can stay at the Stone Maiden Inn. We haven't met the current owners yet, but the reviews tell us that they are every bit as welcoming as Jim and Elaine were, and we are looking forward to meeting them...

Cannot say enough good things about the Stone Maiden. The location is wonderful; we were a short walk from downtown Stratford and the theaters. The breakfasts were so delicious that we looked forward to them everyday. I highly recommend the breakfast risotto! The innkeeper even printed out the recipe for me. The innkeeper, Trish, and her entire staff were lovely....

This was our first stay in Stratford, but we are already making plans to return next summer, and we will for sure stay at the Stone a Maiden Inn. Small inns are all about the personality of the innkeepers, and it is apparent that Pat and Trish love sharing this big, beautiful home with their guests. Scarcely two blocks from...

We had a very nice stay at the Stone Maiden Inn. It is a beautiful place. The rooms are larger than most B&Bs. A king size bed was available. Trish was very gracious and the food was excellent. Having 14 rooms, this is larger than most B&Bs. This has both advantages and disadvantages. You could have breakfast at any time...

This was our first stay at the Stone Maiden Inn. We have been enjoying a mom and daughters weekend for a number of years, and we all enjoy the Stratford Theatre. We have stayed at a variety of places in Stratford, and we loved the Stone Maiden Inn. We were welcomed by Pat with a tour to ensure we knew...

I visit Stratford every year, and only discovered the Stone Maiden Inn last year. I stayed there again this year, and was again delighted with the experience. The host and hostess are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable - I had one of my best sleeps ever! The breakfasts are wonderful and well presented,...

We have stayed at the Stone Maiden Inn on numerous occasions when visiting Stratford. The Inn is always clean and Pat and Tricia are friendly, accessible, accommodating and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and we are happy to recommend this Inn to anyone visiting Stratford.

The proprietors and staff are all attentive, without being obsequious. The breakfasts are top quality and tasty. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The conversations with the other guests in the "family" room are stimulating, ranging from Travel in Paris to raising children in Hong Kong. Our compliments to the Innkeepers for the very enjoyable experience.
