I didn't take any pictures but wow can you say time shift it's not 2017 it this hotel. Staff was nice, breakfast was on continental only. Room was very dated but bed was comfortable. You can tell they tried to renovate but it was not good or done a long time ago. Thank go we didn't pay a lot ....

I was in Sudbury for 3 weeks from December 14th to January 4th to visit with my sister and had the chance to stay at this hotel. I forget the name of the woman at reception when I checked in, but she was helpful with directions to get around the city, and some suggestions about what to do while I...

I recently attended a two day conference and retreat at The Ambassador Hotel. The conference rooms were well set and spacious. The food and beverage included with our event was delicious and served promptly. Dinner at the hotels restaurant on the final night was superb. Great pasta dishes, drinks and desserts. The guest room I had featured a really comfortable...

My parents and friends enjoyed their stay here. They felt the rooms were clean and comfortable and they really like the staff/family owned business. Their restaurant, Laura Fratelli's, is truly a hidden gem with delicious food, great ambience and my favorite servers. I've hosted and attended a few holiday parties and it's classy with a perfect setup. I always feel...

My family booked three rooms here for an overnight stay as nothing else in the area was available. As soon as we arrived, before I even brought bags in I lifted the mattresses in rooms 129 and 127 and found live and dead bed bugs and bed bug feces in both. I informed the lady at the front desk that...

I avoided booking this place for several years basing my decision on very very old impressions. With I open mind, I finally decided to given them a shot and was thrilled with my experience staying there. The rooms are totally remodelled and now so lovely. All staff including maid service couldn't have been better. The only negative is that the...

This is "our" place of choice. A very comfortable and warm hotel, made even better with the professional, friendly, service oriented employees. We are very happy to have come across The Ambassador Hotel here in Sudbury, Ontario. Big box hotel chains can definitely learn much from this private hotel as this hotel doesn't use the predictable cookie cut-out approach in...

I stayed in the Main Tower which was dark and tired looking. The hallways had boxes and plastic tubs strewn throughout and the windows and entrance ways were quite dirty (cigarette butts/cobwebs). I had to ask to have my room cleaned and the air conditioner and washroom both made very loud noises throughout the night. Do not recommend.

Traveled for 16 hours - North Bay hotels were full (we didn't know how far we would travel our 1st day). Continued on to one of our normal brands in Sudbury - they were full, but they told us that the Ambassador might have rooms. We went there. We got a first floor 2 double bed room that also had...

Visited this location on business, this time with my husband! Had a wonderful stay, again! They remembered my name when Upon arrival. I booked direct, not through Expedia this time, and got a better rate... Plus and upgrade! I enjoyed dinner, and was told about the amazing desserts, and WOW, those didn't disappoint. Try the cheesecake! It's a must :)....
