My family has been going to this camp for over 17 years. This is a great place to unplug and relax! The fishing is always great and the scenery on the lake is beautiful! You never know when you are going to see an eagle, bear, moose, or even a white moose! The owners are always updating the camp and...

We have been fishing at Horwood Lake for the last 25+ years. We have stayed at all three of the main fishing camps on Horwood Lake and Hardimand Bay and have found the fishing/lodging experience at Big Bear to be superior to the others. Although not centrally located on Horwood Lake (it is on the Northern end of the Lake...

I have made the trip 17 times in the last 14 years, including two successful bear hunts. Booked for our annual fishing trip next summer and taking some guys on a bear hunt in the fall. Very good fishing on a beautiful lake. Cabins are top notch. Paul and Angie are great people and very helpful.

Beautiful setting along the lake with some good fishing. I've hunted bear with Paul and Angie for 2 years with a 100% success. They have a lot of bear and a lot of big bear. They don't come any better than Paul,Angie and Ashley. Great people and a great place to stay.

I have been visiting Horwood Lake for over 10 years and have spent my last 5 staying at Big Bear Camp. Angie, Paul and Family run an excellent outfit; they treat you like family and are always available if you have any questions or concerns. The cabins have screened in porches, barbeques, and full time electricity and hot water -...
