I stayed for almost two weeks at Comfy Guest house and Suite (Toronto) and it was a big pleasure to have chosen them to spend my holidays. Good location, very clean, so quiet and a very friendly staff made my stay very comfortable and unforgettable. I will not hesitate to book with them again if back to Toronto. Highly recommended!!!

Stayed at the Comfy Guest House in September to allow as a family to get around Toronto. Very handy and with the facilities available made the trip easy and enjoyable. Places to grab a snack and breakfast are close by and it is only 10 minutes to the main city streets.

My girlfriend and I were in town for the World Cup of Hockey from September 20-23. We had been to Toronto before but we had never stayed in this neighborhood or had even heard of this place. WHAT A WASTE! Tahir you are the best! Everything was in walkable or transit distance. The bed didn't look comfortable but once I...

Decent location for downtown Toronto - 35 -40 minute walk to CN, 20 to Young St. The area is not the best, but it did not feel unsafe. The property is clean and the room we had was excellent for the price range. En suite, fridge, hair dryer, TV and towels. There is kitchen facilities available, with coffee, tea etc...

Having come back to Toronto I booked with the Comfu Guesthouse like during my first visit. This time I brought my daughter along too for three nights. We both agreed upon that this is our place when visiting Toronto. A nice quiet area within short reach of Downtown Toronto. Just as clean as I remembered. This time I had a...

If you can follow rules, respect people's space, and adhere to sensible guest standards, this is the place for you. I have been fortunate during my stays that it is a quiet...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
