I appreciate the helpfulness of the hotel staff and the accessibility of the surrounding restaurants and stores. The front desk, and hotel workers were very kind and helpful. I felt like there was nothing that I lacked while staying at the Fairmont. It made life...More

Service is exceptional, and the rooms are newly renovated. I especially loved the conference room floors, each room is unique and has so much history. The ballroom, in particular, is my favourite. If I have to critique, wish the bathroom in the suite is a...More

Thank you for sharing your review. We are pleased that you experienced memorable service from our staff and that you also enjoyed the history and beauty of our meeting spaces. We hope to welcome you again for another great stay in the coming future!
Rooms are small due to the hotel being a downtown location. Clean rooms, the toilet is noisy. TV is hard to change, have to call the front desk to send someone if you want to connect your HDMI cable to the TV. If your room...More

Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe
Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.

We loved Pizzeria Libretto just up University a few blocks. One day just for convenience we went to Jack Astor’s across the street which was fine. We also enjoy e11even in front of the Air Canada Center and also in that complex is Real Sports if you like pub food.
The Loose Moose and Badali are just down the street last Jack Astor’s. We didn’t try them but they have good review. Good luck!
