Hotel lobby was decorated with a pretty Christmas tree as it was just before Christmas. Our room had 2 queen beds. Comfortable. Robes for 2. Bathroom had a bath, shower and well a very low toilet ! Booked on Hotwire. Great deal. Awesome boutique hotel in north downtown. Amazing atmosphere. Great food. Super friendly staff. So much nicer than the larger hotels in down town. Blood st location provides easy access to anywhere you'd like to go in city.

We were here for 2 nights in Toronto. Booking, check-in, and check-out were a breeze. Front desk staff, in general, were courteous and efficient. Our room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bathroom was dated but clean nonetheless. Water pressure from the shower was excellent. The room amenities included a safe, a Keurig machine, a well-stocked mini-fridge, 2 cotton...

I've stayed at this hotel a few times over the years, as it's extremely convenient to U of T and the subway. I have also stayed many times at the other InterContinental on Front St, also a lovely hotel with a bigger pool area. I have occasionally arrived early for check-in, and often there's a room ready, which is always...

My friends and I have visited this hotel twice this month. The best thing about this hotel is the great customer service, the front desk staff are very nice and accommodating. Specifically, Chris, the doorman, who we met on our first visit (and he remembered us when we came back the second time) goes above and beyond to ensure the...

I've had to come to Toronto now twice while doing some work at the U of T. Because of its proximity, I chose to stay at this hotel the first time. The experience was absolutely wonderful from the courtesy of the staff to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the recommendations for restaurants and, of course, its proximity not only...

This hotel was centrally located. Close to a subway station. Right across the street from the ROM and University of Toronto Varsity Stadium. Lots of great restaurants and shops near by. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again in future visits.

For my first visit to Toronto this location was great. I did a lot of walking which was recommended by the superb concierge Carolina. I had 1.5 days spare and everything she recommended was fantastic. Good job Intercon. Proof Bar was a little stale, not busy but bar tenders were very friendly.

I needed to spend a night in Toronto at the end of December and this hotel was one of the few available and affordable. It has old charm and was quite cosy. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A must if you are coming in to TO to shop or dine. It is in the heart of everything.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
