HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I travel a lot within the Starwood group, and am familiar with many of their properties. This one is top tier. I stayed here recently for a work event I organized. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all went smoothly. My room was beautiful, as was the adjoining suite I used for business. Room service was good...

I was here on a 3 day convention. The hotel is very conveniently located (PATH: underground walkway with countless shops to various TTC & UNION Stations is right below Sheraton). This worked out well as it was a COLD weekend in March that we stayed. The rooms are nothing fancy & no mini-bar refrigerator (which I found surprising considering the...

I've stayed now several times at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. The location is superb, and the hotel, although large, uses expansive facilities to very good advantage. Check in and check out are quick and pleasant. My room during each of three visits has been perfectly maintained and well thought out. The fitness center is expansive and also well laid...

This is the second year that we stay at the Sheraton for the Toronto Boat Show in January. This year we had no issues. The room was clean, there was no yelling and screaming up and down the hall. We utilized the green policy, which we try to do. We are only there for a short stay. House keeping was...

This is my go-to hotel in Toronto due to the availability of the "Pay Your Birth Year" promotion here. The location is excellent (right across from City Hall), and it is connected to the PATH. The rooms are standard Sheraton quality, and the TVs are huge. The hotel may be a little large to some (massive number of rooms with...

Basically, this is a standard big-city convention hotel; its good fast elevators are worth noting. However, their green policy is far from clear or, in my view, workable. A card in the room says, “Make a green choice”: “Earn reward when you conserve. For each night you forgo full housekeeping….” You can hang it on your door. I was happy...

My sister invited me to stay with her at the Sheraton in Toronto after her week long seminar she attended. She is from St John so I jumped at the chance to shop and have fun in the big city! This hotel was so big! My first time there. The location was Perfect as we took the under ground tunnel...

Booked this hotel through a conference - 3 night minimum - visa card charged. A month prior I tried to cancel one room but had gone past the cut-off date so the refund would amount to approx $50 on a $900 charge! Plans changed and we were to arrive a day late. No idea why, but did phone which was...

Dear guest, we would like to inform you that when guests book through conferences that have prearranged contracts with the hotel, we are required to comply with the outlined policies of the respective conference contract. However, we would also like to inform you that these are not the standard Sheraton Centre policies. We can appreciate how frustrating this would be...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
