Its the 5th time in Toronto ,yet the first time in this hotel. The hotel is well located on top of a main tube station & at the intersection of two main spine roads of the city . The nearby neighbourhood is cramped with malls, restaurants of all venues ,amusement places & within reach to all places of the city. The...

We spent 5 nights at the Marriott for a family wedding. We absolutely had one of the best stays ever! Our mornings started with Raj who served us breakfast each morning with a smile, great service, and coffee in hand. The desk and valet people were helpful getting us around the city since this was our first visit. Geoff gave...

Very comfortable, spacious suite. Superbly located near Yorkville and bloor/Young intersection.lots to choose from , restaurants, shopping, theaters and other attractions. Staff are great, parked the car , in no time to the suite and felt right at home. I'd much preferred it to Shangri La just down the street, which is good but over congested with non guest visitors.

We were pleasantly surprised with our room. Very spacious if you plan on staying a few nights. This hotel is steps away from the subway station if you plan on going to Union station, CN Tower, Eaton Centre, etc. Attached to a mall for shopping or a short walk to beautiful boutiques. Many restaurants near by all within walking distance.

We have been here many times. This place is always great! It's clean, quiet and never disappoints. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are too. We are always happy to stay here and will continue to do so.

I stayed at this Marriott once roughly 10 years ago and it was OK, but already was showing signs that it might not age gracefully. This was somewhat confirmed during my most recent visit What I liked: Friendly check-in staff, room assigned and prepared as per Marriott profile (hypoallergenic and away from elevator), good size room and bathroom, reliable wifi...

I traveled here on business and stayed for 2 nights. It was a pleasant stay and the rooms were clean, but they felt dated and dark. It was not easy to move my luggage around because everything was carpeted in the hallways.

Our experience staying at the Marriott Hotel on Bloor Str, Yorkville, Toronto was astonishing. The hotel is located at a great spot, very convenient for sight seeing, shopping, walking distance from nice restaurants and above all at a safe and neat area. The personnel of the Hotel was great, starting from Christabelle at the Reception who gave us great tips...

I usually stay at this Marriott when I'm in Toronto as it's close to my daughters apartment. The location is great with lots of shops and restaurants near by and the subway just below the hotel. As a Marriott member I usually get upgrades and the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is good. Helpful and friendly staff -...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
