This was the perfect location for our 2 day stop in Toronto. Very cozy. Deb, the Innkeeper was very helpful. The yummies in the fridge that she provides was perfect. Since it was so cold when we returned in the evening, it was nice to make a hot cup of tea and drink it in front of the fireplace. The...

The Inn itself was very...

My friend Didi and I stayed at the Cozy Suites from 7 September until the 11th. We come to Toronto every year for the film festival and look for interesting places to stay, trying to avoid chain hotels and hoping to find unique areas of the city. Well, leave it to us to try and find accommodation at the last...

Deb was great and really respected the privacy I wanted for the stay as I was desperate for a time out. Deb's Mom's banana bread was a wonderful touch and the kitchenette unit really made this a home from home. The location is a brisk 20min walk away from the beach, but public transport is a plenty. I was particularly...

My Wife and I had the pleasure of staying in Cozy Suites for a weekend in July. The Inn is located in the Beaches area of Toronto, a 10 minute walk through quite residential streets brings the traveller to a world famous Boardwalk and historic Queen St. Here you will find entertainment, superb dining and beautiful sunsets on the Boardwalk....

I stayed with my daughter at Cozy Suites Inn from 17 July until 26 July 2007. The accommodation was clean, welcoming and fully equiped with everything you could possibly need for a most enjoyable vacation. The cooking facilities - big oven and microwave - meant that after a long day sightseeing we could get a nice meal and watch a...

My husband and I stayed at the "cozy suites" for a second honeymoon this July and had a lovely time. The suites were tastefully decorated and the "innkeeper - Deborah" was very helpful. I have family coming to Toronto in the fall and have already booked their stay at the cozy suites inn. I will reccomend it to all other...

Staying in Scarborough

Neighbourhood Profile
Situated astride Lake Ontario, Scarborough is a district heavily influenced by immigration. With a number of low-rent shopping and dining options making it a highly affordable part of town, and boasting one of Toronto's largest shopping malls, the otherwise green suburban neighborhood is a good place to go for bargains and discounts. It also draws in photographers. The spires, archways, and cavernous rooms of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Palace are filled with breathtaking art, architecture, and detailed reliefs – it’s like entering a different world, The ruins of columns and installation art at the Guild Inn makes a free-for-all exploration site, while the big-name draw for young photographers is the menagerie at the Toronto Zoo. While many visitors shirk Scarborough as too suburban, its houses are some of Toronto's most mystical and haunting architectural beauties. And for adventure lovers, it has river-rafting and some unique hiking trails.
