You are staying in a student residence hall. I stayed here in June 2016 for 4 nights with my husband. He slept on the trundle bed, I slept on the twin bed. We had a fan, a sink and mini-fridge in the room. (dorm room) Shared toilets and shower with other guests on the floor. I had an interesting meeting...

The term 'hotel' is rather misleading. It is a student residence. The building does not look very inviting from the outside and it does not get better if you go in. Bathrooms were not well looked after and you could just see that it is an old building. Only good thing was friendly and helpful staff. It was possible to...

My room smelled terrible. The elevator always smelled like vomit, maybe because of the dumpsters kept in the hallway on the ground floor right next to the elevator door. The bottom sheet wasn't even fitted and wouldn't stay on the bed. There was a bloodstain on the chair. The desk lamp didn't work. Read all the fine print before you...

Dear Bethany T, Thank you for your time to provide us feedback about your stay. I understand with your review that our accommodation didn't fit your personal needs. I had many questions when I read it. Let's see some points you mentionned: -Sheets : I don't see how our sheet could not cover the bed, we have one size fit...

Please remember this is basically a dorm room, so you get what you pay for. Considering I had stayed in different dorms in various campuses in the past, this is actually decent. For private shared bathroom, you also get an in-room sink. This helped a lot since most things could be done in the room unless needing to use the...

Hello babyoscar, You provided useful tips about transportation! Thank you for your review. I'm glad that you found our accommodation quiet and decent comparing to many dorms you had visited in the past. TVs are available on each floor or in living rooms. I don't understand what happenned during your stay but TVs worked well all summer. I took notes...

To call this a dump is being oh-so-generous. I unexpectedly had a night in Montreal & the airlines promised to get me booked in somewhere near the airport. Well, due to a large sporting event which none of us thought about, EVERY hotel in their binder was sold out. I stood there watching as 2 employees spent almost 2 hrs...

Hello Imh123ca, Thank you for taking time to provide feedback on your last stay. Obviously, you had a terrible experience with the airline company plus you had to spleep in an accommodation that you didn't choose. Your review clearly specifies that our rooms and facilities didn't fit your needs. I don't know which type of room they reserved for you....

Very affordable. Staff was wonderful and friendly. I had a great experience. Hotels in the area are ridiculously expensive so I have no idea what "motels" people think they are staying at that are cheaper. Let it be stated that people are still using this hotel despite all these negative reviews and I suggest checking out trip advisor or booking.com...

Very thin walls make for sleepless nights as most of the other guests are college kids and stay up partying. No air conditioning. Bathroom down the hall. Rate on the front counter says $45, young girl in tears heard screaming "I paid $100 for this?!"

Staying in Parc du Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Parc du Mont-Royal
Montreal was named for this hilly highland, where the tallest spot in the city overlooks its most extensive parkland. The greenspace of Parc du Mont-Royal is an outdoorsman's dream, with hiking trails and nature walks that cater to every season and level of athlete. In the winter, cross-country skiers, tobogganers, and ice skaters don their equipment by Beaver Lake and its pavilion, while the warmer months bring families and competitors to the pitches of Jeanne-Mance Park for tennis, soccer, football, baseball, volleyball, or a dip in the community pool. A perfect spot for a stroll or a picnic, the forest foliage is dotted with sculpture art and offers views of some of Mont-Royal's oldest edifices, the towering St. Joseph's Oratory and the mausoleums of Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. Home to musical celebrations and twilight snowshoeing alike, visit here to walk, write, rest, think, or just be.
