We stayed here at the end of a five and a half week tour of Canada. What a lovely place to finish our trip. On booking in, when we asked about making tea in our room, we were told the coffee machine would be replaced...More
We went for the afternoon tea with my baby, my sister and my mom for Mother’s Day. We had a lot of fun. The tea sandwiches are really tasty. Note to the restaurant: I wish there was more sandwiches and less pastries (they are so...More
We stayed in this hotel over a weekend and absolutely loved it. The breakfast in the morning was very good and the rooms were comfortable as well. We especially enjoyed our deep muscle massage and the spa afterwards. Great after a busy day!
What a wonderful place to stay. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Only negative is it is a 2mile walk to Old Montréal, which we did not mind. Shopping all around and Mount Royale right there to climb and explore.
My husband and I stayed here for five nights for our honeymoon in 2014. When I booked the room through Marriott using my rewards points, I was told that the Ritz would not give me an upgrade because it was Ritz Carlton (not part of...More
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young
professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
