Stayed here for 3 nights in January so, as you would expect, the hotel wasn't at full capacity. The lobby is on the 6th floor and you can see the indoor pool when you get off the elevator which was nice. The room was a little dated, the bathroom was small, but everything was clean. I slept well on the...

How can a hotel in the downtown Business Center of Montreal have such slow internet! I expected to pay more for a better service, which did not happen!!! There are other hotels in the area, with superior broadband, such as the Delta and Sheraton.

First time in Montreal for a hockey tournament. Lots of families looking to hang out together in the hotel somewhere so we settled in at the lounge/bar to cheer on our hometown football team, as we were told no drinks/food in the pool area. Ok.. Some confusion arose about bringing in food from the outside and the manager came storming...

Stayed after Christmas and enjoyed it very much. I gave it an overall rating of 4 because hotel is under renovation and a lot of the rooms were not available plus construction outside all over the city. Attached to a nice Mall and walked everywhere to Saint Catherine Street for shopping and to Old Montreal for sightseeing, only thing streets...

Pleasant stay at the Hyatt this past weekend. It was quiet, rooms were clean, friendly staff. Can walk underneath to get food at the mall easy and next to the Art Museum and a Starbucks. I probably would prefer to be closer downtown to the Bell Centre for a hockey game but its a 20 - 30 minute walk (not...

Loved it from the second we arrived. Very central. Parking either across the street outdoors or underground parking at the hotel. If you're feeling fancy, valet is right there... The rooms are clean and a good size... The stay was extremely pleasant. Spend a little bit more and stay in this hotel...

I selected this hotel because it was attached to Place Des Arts and you walk inside which is a bonus is January. You also have access to shopping and food. Hotel is modern and fresh. My room was nice and spacious with a good working area and internet worked well. I did not like the bed, it wasn't comfortable or...

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
