My yearly trip to Montreal always includes a lengthy stay at La Petite Prune. This year I was able to stay in my favourite room Sora for the full twelve days. It was such a treat! The breakfast format has changed slightly with a focus on a smaller menu with the excellent addition of espressos, cappuccinos and lattes. There is...

It was really nice guest house. Lovely room, good location(near metro stations), delicious breakfast, kindly owner. The bus room is share. In my opinion, please lightly clean it yourself after your using so that next person's feeling will be good:)

This B&B was so well-maintained, beautifully decorated and clean (love the slippers). I only stayed 1 night, but would definitely return for a longer stay in the future. Quiet room, great location (easy walk to restaurants, bakery, the mountain), and a delicious breakfast (best scones ever!). Thank you Akiko!

Central location to attractions. Close to restaurants. Friendly hostess. Quiet and restful. Took our bicycles for touring around Montreal and its central location provided the perfect central spot to stay. Hostess provided a secure location in the garage to keep our bikes.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
