This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel 10. Here is what we like: it is small, reasonably centrally located (more below), clean, very post-modern chic. The rooms are comfortable, lovely, quiet. The service (ie staff) are wonderfully friendly and helpful. As in, wonderfully. Wer have visited Montreal many, manyh timers: this is by far our favorite hotel....

I was very impressed with the Hotel. Having read some reviews I called ahead and asked for a room away from the nightclub. Even though I booked through Priceline it was no problem. They prebooked the room. At check-in the woman working the desk asked us if we were light sleepers as she would also have booked us away. The...

Stayed with a friend for a night out on the town. The rooms are a good size for the location, and we'll appoibted. Very modern. The parking was easy to get into, and reasonably priced for downtown Montreal. Staff were friendly. It was quite due to some type of event, but staff was attentive and efficient.

Nice appearance, and very friendly reception staff. We arrived on Sunday evening. Looked at the room service menu, not much on it and very expensive. We braved the snowstorm and found a yummy Irish pub up the street. Hotel was pretty quiet and the bed was comfortable, only 1 bathrobe and 1 glass in the bathroom ... for 2 people....

Had a great Priceline deal so decided to grab it and stay here. I was worried when reading the reviews but my room was fine. Modern decor, nothing worn out. Only issue was the shower leaked but was fixed within hours. I asked for a quiet room but was told that because I was booked at a certain rate that...

We stayed at this hotel due to a free night promo with Amex during gay pride. We should have spent the money and stayed somewhere else. It was. It close to anything and we had to take the metro everywhere after walking three blocks. The nightclub was noisy and it's located in a horrible area with a lot of riff...

I was generously upgraded to a Junior suite due to the slow hot water in my initial room. Although the historic portion of Hotel 10 does have far more charm then it's newer section, it does have trouble with hot water. No biggie.

Staying in Quartier des Spectacles

Neighbourhood Profile
Quartier des Spectacles
The bar-none entertainment district for music and arts, Quartier des Spectacles is an interactive playground that delights the senses. It totals over 30 performance halls, with the vibrant Place des Festivals at its heart. The outdoor event space features glowing towers, glass edifices, and granite-lined bike paths, and hosts annual festivals, concerts, and comedy nights. The cinema, theatres, and exhibition centres are entwined with external art projects, exemplified at Montreal's Contemporary Art Museum and appearing along every walkway of the Promenade des Artistes in the form of sculpture and public works, from digitally-enhanced swingsets to glowing fountains. Design, performance, and alternative music come together here, a stone's throw from the lively Latin Quarter along Rue Saint-Denis, the quintessential after-party spot for dinner and a drink following a day of jazz, poetry and play.
