My husband and I were trying to be budget conscious throughout our trip from Montreal to Gaspe. We decided to splurge for our night in Quebec city, as we did that once before and had a great time. When you walk into the hotel, it looks like a cheap nighties club trying really hard to be classy. Then, when you...

We traveled as a family to Quebec, and were thrilled to stay in this historic hotel. Very close to numerous historic sites, free valet parking, large suites and good service. We enjoyed having lots of space, and a kitchen for breakfast and snacks. Excellent hotel, and much more interesting than a chain hotel.

Spent a week here after a chain hotel in Montreal and this was a delightful contrast. The rooms are modern but placed inside an old stone building which gives the place character and each room is unique - ours was a strange 'U' shape with the bathroom in the middle. We did pay for a larger 'delux' suite but the...

We stayed several days in a suite on an upper floor, and it was absolutely perfect. Each of our daughters had their own space, and we had our own bedroom. The kitchenette came in handy for fixing breakfast and snacks. The hotel is in an old building, and has a lot more character than a chain hotel. Free valet parking,...

This was the perfect place for our stay during our family vacation. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was a wonderful eclectic blend of modern décor with the thick stone walls of the hotel. It was very convenient to have the kitchen area so that we could enjoy some of the wonderful fare from the City...

Booking in was painless and the frot desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially as I could not speak French, they explained thigs in English well to me....

Just returned from a three night stay in this beautiful old hotel. It is perfectly located for sightseeing, walking through the streets and enjoying the shops and restaurants. Once we parked we never used our car again until we had to go home. There is not a lot of room for parking however this is managed very well by the...

If you want to stay in the middle of old Quebec city... this is the place! Parking is tight but is taken care of by parking valets. Very interesting old building that has been modernized. We spent three nights here in Aug 2014. We parked and never got in our vehicle until it was time to leave. Walking is the...

At first sight, this place was looking fine but ... After a couple of hours the upper neighbours kids started a marathon and our whole room trembled like hell. Done with the quietness ! Several complaints didn't help. I know this has more to do with the education of our upper neighbour but the acoustic isolation is to blame as...
