We found the location was the number one asset for this hotel. We were an easy walk to a variety of shops, many bistros, quality restaurants, historical sites and the fabulous view at the Chateau Frontonac. Combined with price, the comfortable beds, the lovely breakfast, and one night of jazz, this hotel offers it all... at least in our book.

Very good location, accessible to public transportation. Walking distance to a lot of attractions. It is a small, classic hotel however it receives big groups which sometimes causes inconveniences in the only elevator of the property. The beds and the furniture are a little dated, I mean, I understand it is the oldest property in the city but come on,...

I would've given this hotel a five-star rating had the Clarendon offered dinner service during our stay. No one could understand why the restaurant would be closed especiallly since we were visiting during Mardi Gras. Having said that however our breakfasts were great at this hotel, so I'm sure their dinner menu would've been good too. One bit of advice...

Pleasant room, view and very comfortable bed and very nice staff. Excellent location for bars and restaurants. Only downside is parking, public 2 blocks away. Nice evening live entertainment, piano bar and singer.

The Clarendon occupies a prime site in the upper old town of Québec City. The building stands close to the Cathedral Of The Holy Trinity and commands respect with its striking presence as it is approached. This is my 3rd stay at The Clarendon I was greeted at the check-in desk and the staff member checked with me whether I...

Service was great from the time we entered until we left. The hotel was built on 1856 so super classic. Rooms are clean but tiny. We weren't there to spend time in our room though. Beds as comfy and room was a bit warm

I randomly chose this hotel, the oldest in Quebec City, for a long weekend stay. The location was ideal for walking anywhere to see the sites of Old Quebec City. The room sizes are reminescent of those in Europe; small but very nice with the usual necessities. There was the option of a breakfast bar or full menu selections and...
