Wonderful in every way. Location was perfect- central to everything in the old city but just off the main streets enough that it wasn’t noisy. Spacious room was very very clean. Comfortable beds and updated bath with heated floor. The hotel was festive and bustling and smelled great (hidden diffusers spray scented air regularly so beware if you have sensitivities to perfume), service was friendly and English was spoken by everyone without reservation- always with a smile. So gracious and friendly. (We may have missed an accessible entrance hidden somewhere, but it’s important to note that the hotel is accessed through a full flight of stairs with no elevator that we could see.) The Christmas Market rate was unbelievable with the US exchange rate but we lacked for nothing despite how affordable it was. We didn’t eat in either restaurant but they were always busy. Would absolutely stay again.

The hotel is situated in the old town and only offers valet parking, which was reasonably priced considering the location. It was much easier to find than we anticipated. As you enter the hotel you are greeted by a long staircase and the lobby is situated at the top. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and well furnished and it is a great base for exploring Quebec.

We just had a one night stay here but it was located in the heart of Old Quebec and was perfect for us to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Inside the front door is a level of stairs to the second floor where the lobby is located at and if they had an elevator from the street level to the lobby, it was well concealed and difficult to spot. (They must have one for luggage as we valet parked and they took our luggage on luggage racks up to the lobby floor.)

Check in was easy and quick. Our rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were so comfortable! We did not explore the hotel much but there is access to a restaurant and a gift/food shop on the premises.

Valet parking is extra and there isn't any public / free parking nearby. There was an option to get your vehicle out at any time if needed but we just walked and explored Old Quebec from our hotel location.

I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We stayed one week at the Manoir Victoria. Like many hotels, it is still recovering from the COVID pandemic. As some reviewers mentioned, the housecleaning crew needs more personnel. When we arrived the desk staff told us what day our room would be serviced, which was fine with us because we don't need daily cleaning. We did call the desk a few times to replenish coffee, TP, and other items which were promptly delivered. We also learned (from a local) that the restaurant was not yet fully staffed, and the same people were servicing the hotel breakfast area and Chez Boulay, the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. We found the staff to be friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel has multiple room configurations. Our room was fairly large and rectangular, with 2 queen beds, 2 casual chairs & table, one window, a wardrobe closet and a long countertop housing the desk, dresser, refrigerator and luggage shelf. The bath had a standard tub/shower combo. A few reviewers mentioned the large staircase from the street to the lobby area. Yes, it is quite steep. However, the hotel staff will carry your bags up to the lobby. I was told there is an elevator from the street level to the lobby for those with physical disabilities, but it is not a public access elevator. It must be operated by a staff member and scheduled in advance. Lastly, I agree with the reviewers who mentioned the noise (music, voices, trucks) emanating from the Rue Sainte-Jean. This is a street with restaurants, bars and shopping. During our stay, we heard the trash trucks around 6 AM, the street performers and bar music until about 10:30 PM and the revelers leaving the bars at 2:30 AM. If this doesn't excite you, you should ask for a quieter location. All in all, we had an enjoyable stay. The location is great and we walked everywhere in the old city.

I’m very disappointed with our stay at Hotel Manoir Victoria where we spent 3 nights at the end of June.
First of all, they don’t clean any rooms and poor excuse of Covid is not gonna do it as other hotels in Quebec have full service. Second of all, they tried to scam us by giving us a room a grade below what we ordered from their site. When I pay for something I like to get it and instead of an upgrade they gave us a downgrade without saying anything and hoping it would fly. That’s opposite of service. When we confronted the front desk they got very defensive and told us they will do us a favor and put us in the room we ordered. Hahaha. Not funny at all.
Third: No water bottles
Fourth: Steps. This is absolutely not ok for families with kids in strollers and anyone who is disabled. Not sure if it’s even legal to have an entrance like that.
Finally, if you can stay somewhere else do yourself a favor. I would give this place a maximum of 2.5 stars as it’s nowhere close to other 4 star hotels In Quebec City.

We are here for three nights. Great location for walking around the old city. Nicely appointed modern interior and spacious room and bathroom. Friendly staff offered valet parking (at extra daily charge) and a nice young assistant to take our luggage up a steep set of stairs at the entrance.

Surprising lack of services I would normally expect from a 4 star hotel. No maid service (Covid?), no morning coffee in the lobby and, take note—no bar!

There is a gourmet restaurant connected to the hotel (Nordic cuisine?!) but no bar service for hotel guests. Breakfast available at a considerable additional price.

Booked a superior room for the week-end based on images and size indicated on the hotel website. Upon check-in, we were dispapointed to find that our room was not as advertized and spoke to Nicolas at the front desk about it. To our surprise, he told us that with such a small difference in price between a standard room and a superior room, we shouldn’t expect very much more than we have. He offered to relocate us to another identical room or have us pay for a bigger one. We just wanted what we thought we had paid for and our disapointment was completely ignored. His irritation and expeditive attitude made me feel as though his polite and profesional demeanor was reserved for higher paying clients. We told him to forget, but felt totally unappreciated as clients. Later on, another front desk worker named Bernard asked us if all was good. We decided to mention what happened. Within a minute, he had us set up in another larger room and made sure we were completely satisfied. His concern, great smile and friendly attitude made us want to come back to this hotel. This was not the case after our interacion with Nicolas. Front desk workers don’t always realize that their attitude can make the difference between a client retuning to the hotel or never coming back. Bernard, you were the best, such good service is definately mentioned and remembered. Perhaps you can show Nicolas a few pointers.

We stayed at Hotel Manoir Victoria for four nights. As previous travelers had mentioned there is a set of stairs as soon as you enter the building. We had two carry-ons so it was not a big deal for us.

The location is unbeatable. You are right around the corner from shops and restaurants, and walking distance to all of old Quebec and even newer parts like the Grand Theatre which was the reason we were visiting.

We interacted with multiple staff members with questions and checkin/checkout—they were all very friendly and helpful.

Parking was a block north on Rue McMahon with entrance immediately behind the red brick building.

Pool facility was clean. My husband used the gym and said it was small but not crowded.

Room was great and clean. Shampoos & body soap came in disposable packages, so if you care for things like that, bring your own shampoo.

Overall we were pleased with our stay.

Amazing property in the heart of where you want to be. Everything was within walking distance; close to many shops and restaurants.
The hotel itself is clean, it feels new and fresh; if feels high end from the linens to the rooms, even the check in desk. The staff are so friendly and helpful with anything you need, they genuinely what to help you rather than it feeling like an obligation as part of their job. We paid for parking at the hotel which was nice because parking around there seems complicated (definitely worth the $30 a night) and the service to get the car was quick. The are stairs to get into the hotel and the front desk (a lot of steep steps) and they had asked us if we wanted help with our bags when we first arrived which was nice and to help bring them down to the car when we left (again very quick service and polite). The pool was great too, easy to book ahead and no one to compete with. The room was large and comfortable, lots of extra space. Would definitely stay again, it was a great experience!

This hotel is in the heart of old town. You can easily walk to all the nearby attractions. The only challenge is the large staircase into the hotel, otherwise it is a nice property. Everything has been updated. The bed was very comfy, good water pressure in the shower and I could even open the window in my room which I love the fresh air. Room was clean, staff was helpful. The pool is in the lower level, it is a unique design and the deeper water is only on one side, but was a source of relief after a long day of walking. The hills in Quebec City take a toll. I would stay here again.

Thank you - hoping for the best and that we are able to visit in Dec. One last question - we will be there Dec 26 to Jan 1. Are there any Christmas villages we can visit during that period? We booked our room through Expedia and it doesn’t show many options of places to visit and things to do.

Bonjour, our pool is still closed until further notice because Quebec city is still in Red Zone. ( except for the period of Feb. 27 to March 6 , the pool will be open from 15h00 to 20h00 . You have to reserve a 50 minutes time frame on site). Please note that we no longer offer Spa services.
