Bonjour Camille, Your kind words and the fact that you took a moment of your time to review your recent stay really warm our hearts. Thank you for doing so and in the process showing your support towards a small family business. We are thrilled to learn you enjoyed your time spent at le Manoir d'Auteuil. Our manager worked really hard in elaborating an original Art Deco decor and we all put efforts in upholding its cleanliness on a daily basis so your comment comes in as a validation of all our efforts. We truly appreciate it! The hypoallergenic down pillows and comforter were thought of to provide you with a extra comfy nest to get back to after a day walking and exploring the city. Again, thank you for your support and patronage, it means the world to us. We all look forward to having you again. Until then, have a great spring! Mille mercis, Becky-Lee

My wife and I recently stayed at the Manoir d'Auteuil and had a wonderful experience. We had a Delux Super King room on the 2nd floor facing the park. The room was attractively furnished with a completely modern bath. The hotel has a European feel with all the comforts of North

Bonjour M. Joseph, Thank you for your kind review. It was a pleasure having you both with us and we really appreciate you taking a moment to share your thoughts with the travel community. Yes, we are very similar to hotels you would find in Europe. We are a small family run property and everyone on our team absolutely loves working with our guests. The superior rooms are quite spacious. As the building originally served as a single family home in 1835, the layout is unique and each room differs in size and personality. If you want something on the smaller and charming side, I highly recommend our European and Classique Queen rooms. If you prefer a room with space, I recommend the Deluxe Kings, Superior Kings and the Junior Suites. All of the Junior Suites have a Parliament Hill view. It is also important to note that because we are an historic property within the walls, we do not have a lift. Should you need any assistance with luggage, we are there to help, but we always recommend you contact us first so that we may assist in choosing a room category situated on a lower floor. Thank you again for your support and for choosing to stay with us. Merci beaucoup! Linda

Can't say enough about this quaint hotel. We stayed here five nights in a ground floor Classic Queen room. The room was very comfortable and included a small desk/chair and a sitting chair. Very comfortable bed. Our windows looked out at about ground level onto a courtyard,

Bonjour Mme. Susan, Thank you for your support and for taking a moment to share your experience with the online community. We truly appreciate it! Le Manoir d'Auteuil originally served as a single family residence back in 1835. Thus, each room is unique from the petit and charming to the spacious and luxurious. The property is reminiscent of the small hotels that you find in Europe. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and we hope to welcome you back someday in the future. Encore, un gros merci! Linda

Bonjour M. Strat, Thank you so much for your support and for choosing to stay with us. We are a small independent boutique hotel and we realize it is not always easy to find us. Your kind comments have certainly generated some smiles today and I want to thank you for that. We wish you all the best and hope to welcome you back someday in the future. All the best, Linda

I chose your hotel off the internet because of its location within the upper town of old Quebec City, but it was an excellent choice for other reasons. We arrived i a blizzard to be met by a friendly front desk person and were shown to a lovely room in a beautifully restored

Bonjour M. John, Thank you for taking a moment to review your stay with us. The location really is ideal and I am so glad you found us. We are an historic property and the hotel is reminiscent of the small European style hotels typical of Paris and England. Everyone is thrilled to know you enjoyed your experience with us. I will pass along your comments to the housekeeping team, and it will make their day. Cleanliness is a real challenge in the winter due to the salt and sand everyone brings in on their boots. Thank you for your support and patronage, and we hope to welcome you back someday in the future! Merci beaucoup, Linda

How was the parking
Bonjour Jeff H, Thank you for your question. As mentioned by our previous guests, we do offer parking. It is a CAD$22+taxes charge per night. Since we are in the low season right now, our valet is not available everyday. We do have self parking spaces though. All you need to do is to park in front of the hotel door, on the left side of the street (voiturier zone) and we will either take the vehicle for you or direct you to one of our other available spaces. Please feel free to give us a call if you should have more questions or wanted help in planning your stay (restaurant activities etc) Have a good day!

Bonjour Sally, Yes as Gloria and CK mention, our lounge offers a quiet environment to gather for small groups. In the summer and early fall, our deck is open from 9am to 10pm and welcomes up to 14 people at once. We will be happy to assist you and wait on you for breakfast, drinks and munchies. The lounge area is under liquor license and can only serve alcoholic beverages sold on site. We look forward to meeting you and your friends! Regards, Linda.

Our room had a full bathroom (up a flight of stairs in the room) with commode, sink and bathtub with shower. Bay window was nice but not much of a view except other buildings.

Hi, yes, this can easily be arranged if done so in advance. We can also arrange for you to be dropped off at your restaurant if situated in the upper town as well.

"No elevators because this is an older (older as in historic, not condition!) building ask for a room on the same floor as the lobby."
"#9 is a funky choice. The Marble bathroom is up a flight of stairs. More fun than it sounds. Comfortable rooms, great wifi and QUIET"
"We prefer the quieter back of the building. There Is no elevator and we found the third floor about the right number of stairs."
"The farther up, the better the view"
"Room 10 was great."
