My boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Royal William during the first weekend of the Quebec Winter Carnival. The hotel is about a 20 min walk from the carnival activities or the old part of the city. It’s an uphill walk and can be a bit cold in Quebec, but you can always drive

For my wife and I, this was our first trip to Quebec City. This hotel proved to be a great choice for us. The downtown location was convenient to some very good restaurants and an interesting neighborhood for evening walking and people watching. We walked to Old Town from the

Good value for the price, staff very friendly and helpful. Room is extra large and the bed is comfortable. Close to the old city but you will be walking uphill. We found an elevator which was very handy and saved steps. Continental free breakfast which was a bonus.

We are very sorry that you had a bad experience at our hotel. Because we work in a small reception there is only one station to register our guest which explain the wait when a certain number of people wants to register at the same time. The Air condition is controlled by the front desk staff true because, this way we can prevent easily problems before they occur. Also, We have a second public parking which is directly at the corner of the street where the hotel is situated. Don't hesitate to contact us for more details

A cab is 35 CD plus tip. You can take a bus, but it takes over an hour, I was told. The old port is about 20 min. from the hotel and you do not climb any hills.

Parking is across the street from the hotel and it is $16 per day plus tax.
