Location is very convenient; close to most attractions, restaurants, and shops. It looked more modern in pictures, though. I didn’t realize how dated it is until I got there. It has narrow stairs with laundry bags and cleaning supplies in hallways. Bathroom didn’t have good heat

We stayed a couple of days in this hotel to visit Quebec. We booked there because we thought Acadia/Duisbourg was a boutique hotel...

This hotel has at least 2 separate buldings, 300-400 meters away from each other in 2 different streets, e.g. Acadia with a reception, Duisbourg

Had read reviews before I booked so knew that the hotel was an older one which led to it’s charm. Along with charm, came some quirks. Water in shower ran scalding hot/cold, room was very warm and we had to use air conditioning to make it comfortable and the last night we were the

When booking our accommodation we decided to pay more for a charming ‘Old Quebec’ experience. We had visions of a charming, but authentic, room in this heritage precinct.

On arrival we were confronted by the 4pm check-in chaos that reflected an absence of management or proces

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write this review on TripAdvisor! We are sorry that your experience with us hasn’t completely met your expectations. However, we would like to clarify the lack of elevators in our hotel. Since our hotel is located in the historic area of Quebec City, a protected UNESCO site, it is impossible for us to add an elevator to our building. However, our staff is always happy to help you carry your luggage to your room. Please note that cleanliness is an important matter to us and that the situation you described does not meet our quality standards. We will transfer your comments to the staff concerned so that proper follow-up can be done. We hope to have the chance to see you again after our explanations. Best regards, Matthieu-Charles L.L.

Outdated, yes, but clean. Spectacular location, very close to restaurants, shops and bars. The bed was comfortable and check-in easy. Keep in mind that the hotel is old, so the walls are paper thin. This didn't bother us at all, we had a great stay.

Hello, first of all, thank you for leaving us an opinion on your experience in our hotel. It is true that the location of our hotel allows any guest to make the most of the little wonders of Quebec City. All there is to see is near us! As for the hotel's decor, considering that we are located in the Old Town district, it is chosen so as to respect and represent the essence of this area. Hoping that this aspect did not affect your stay, we hope to welcome you back soon and win the two missing stars! Looking forward, Emmanuelle C.

Hi, cdhutch1. What would you like to know about this accommodation? We have this hotel booked for October. Our reservations show Building Louisbourg. I'm hoping this is not what happened to you. Do you remember what your booking said? Thank you
We stayed in that building. We were fine. We had a regular bathroom (nothing fancy) and a view of tthe street. It was on the second floor. I liked the location better than the other, though they are only 1 block apart.

Hello. Thanks a lot Tommy for answering my previous query. Had one last question. My 1 year old niece will be in same room with her parents. So double room is sufficient? I mentioned 1 child during my booking, but still wanted to reconfirm.
Hello Ahmed, Is your niece will be sleeping in the same bed as her parents, do you need an extra bed or will you bring a child bed of your own?
