We were alone, so this was calm. But if people are in the other rooms, I guess this can be noisy. The room is ok and clean. But this is just basic, nothing great at all. We had to leave around 7AM, and the owners told us this was not possible for them to accommodate this timing to give us... More

Location is towards the edge of Tadoussac and from the town you have to climb a steep hill - not for everyone! But other than that it consists of a small number of bungalows with access to a large garden which has plenty of seating and views across the bay. Breakfast is optional for an additional charge and I would... More

My husband, teenage son and I stayed here for two nights in July. Booking was easy and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Although not a problem for us, only French is spoken. We had the two rooms overlooking the fjord, both of which had terraces with a small table and chairs. We found the patio doors useful for... More

Our room was the best appointed one we had in 2 weeks of travelling in Quebec. Lights and bed side tables, towels changed everyday, a light over our suitcase racks (2 of them-one for each of us- never had in that in any top of the line hotels). The view was fabulous and the hostess was so happy to assist... More

This B&B is very nice and cute. The rooms are small, but very comfortable. There is a sink in the room and not in the bathroom, but it wasn't a problem. There is a nice view of the bay from the back yard of the B&B. Lise was very welcoming and nice and gave us great advice on where to... More

If you're expecting luxury then you should skip Le temps d'une pause. Otherwise, this down-to-earth B&B will win you over with its charms and simplicity. Like the town of Tadoussac itself, it is small and unpretentious. Slightly off the beaten path for peace and quiet, but only a short jaunt to the main strip. The room was clean. The bathroom,... We stayed for 2 nights in Le temps d'une pause. We chose to go to Tadoussac during our East-Canada trip because of the possibility to do whale watching cruises. We were pleasantly surprised by this B&B. We had asked for a river view room. The view was absolutely fabulous: a wide view on the bay and the river. The B&B... More

We have been in Tadoussac 2 nights at "Le temps d'une pause": when we arrived I couldn't believe that it was such a bad place! The room ("Confort") was extremely small: the washbasin was in the room near the bed, just 1 bedside table, the closet was a piece of wood with some clothes hangers, you don't know where to... More

We had a very warm welcome (in French) and got a room with a view!! It was so relaxing being outside in the garden with view on the bay! (watch the muskitos!) The rooms are very clean, have a fridge, nice towells,... There was high speed internet and Lise recommanded us where to go to eat and helped us with... More

What a pleasure it was to settle in at this small B&B, high on a hill overlooking the river. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable and, although perhaps it was a little on the small side, we did have access directly to the garden where there was an enticing glider seat. Hostess Lise served up excellent breakfasts for us... More
