I've read the other reviews but we certainly didn't have any problems, Mari was pleasant and helpful and yes ~ the house is old and in process of being fixed up and yes ~ there was some dust (new house construction everywhere around the B&B so dust is inevitable and impossible to keep up with!). We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and... More

I like old houses so this was perfect for us. The complimentary in room breakfast was great with carved fruit and sausages and eggs. I would go again for the quiet treed location the sounds of boats on the river and the nice deck.

I saw the pics of a lovely house, and called to inquire further about availability. I left a message with my questions for Mari. At 10:30 that night, the phone rang!! The person said, "You called here?" It took several questions on my part to find out it was the Calderhouse B & B. She did not answer the questions... More

Have never stayed in such a run down B&B. I understand it is a century home but I have stayed in Century homes before and they have been clean and well kept. There was a dead mouse in a trap in the kitchenette.

My husband and I booked a night at Calder House expecting to enjoy a romantic weekend in Saskatoon. When we arrived the suite we were presented was dusty, and simply not what we saw in photos online. The bed had no mattress cover and was covered with only a thin sheet, a number of light fixtures were broken with parts... More

We were planning a trip to Saskatoon so searched for a B and B. Staying in a B&B is always special. This one was really neat. Saskatchewan Crescent is the place to be in Saskatoon, right on the banks of the river, right across from Downtown, with the majestic Bessborough Hotel, which has a special place in our memory. And... More

It was our first night ever in Saskatoon, a midweek evening on which we stayed at the Calder House, and we would gladly do so again. I am especially glad that our plans did not afford us the time to read all the scathing reviews on this site before we booked our room. While it is clear that the inn... More

This is a beautiful heritage building with a colorful history and an awesome locale. We have stayed in many B&B across Canada and this one has great potential however......???? We stayed in the Victoria Suite and we were comfortable and all our needs were met although not what we expected from our previous B&B visits. I really don't know how... More

I stayed at the Calder House B & B for 3 evenings ...... Mari the innkeeper was very lackadaisical, rude and arrogant.. The coffee was good, however the extremely simple breakfast I requested was royally screwed up every morning.
