Location, location, location. just off the highway, across from the airport. Great trucker food and a lounge to watch tv and enjoy a cold beverage. i Often book this hotel for employees as it has truck parking. I've eaten there many times but this was the first time I stayed myself. Friendly, clean and did I mention the convenient location?

Not the first time I have eaten at the Airport Chalet at both breakfast and for dinner. I've never done a review before and thought it was time I did. Eggs Benedict is one of my favourites and so this past Sunday, I thought I would have it again. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My poached eggs were medium, the shredded... More

Don't be put off by appearances. Despite its age, you get a great experience staying in a place that reflects the Yukon and its history. Lord only knows when the building was built as the foundations have given way so that the floors wander up and down. However that's part of the appeal - getting out of bed in the... More

Not eating here ever again. I've been a long time customer at this restaurant, never had problems with food or service. Everyone is usually friendly and ready to serve customers. My dad and I sat down for lunch hour, and it took the waitress 15 minutes to even come over to take our order, even though we indicated we were... More

Came in very late on the Air North flight from Vancouver/Kelowna a few days ago and needed a place to sleep for a few hours before catching the early morning Air North flight to Dawson City. This place fit the bill perfectly. Don't spend money on a taxi (8.00) when you can walk across the street in 5 minutes to... More

The portions are big and delicious (get the quesadillas) or some ribs on Friday night (excellent). Pricing is more than fair and the atmosphere was quiet (mgmnt. doesn't let troublemakers have the run of the place). Convenient location... get a doggy bag too!

The Airport Chalet is conveniently located on the Alaska Hwy, with its own excellent restaurant & lounge. I was just passing thru & didn't want to stay in town. I stayed in the motel unit, because of the at-the-door parking. The room was clean & comfortable. Tho across the hwy from the airport, the room was also quiet. The staff... More

We stayed in the hotel building. The kitchenette room was dated and worn with wood panel walls. The room had no air conditioning, the room was hot upon arrival which would explain the two fans in the room. Leaving the window open wasn't a good option because the outside noise was pretty loud (major highway, and airport). The bathroom was... More

We booked this hotel based on favourable trip advisor reviews but were very disappointed. We called ahead to book a room in the motel outside unit and requested a senior rate which was confirmed. We like a motel with drive up parking for ease of unloading luggage. Upon arrival we were told the booking person obviously made a mistake and... More
