Booked hotel for overnight stay, the hotel was a little further out of BSE than we expected its located off the beaten track within its own grounds. Our room was large and overlooked the garden area, it was well furnished, clean and warm. Evening menu at the hotel was good, the menu varied and was reasonably priced. Breakfast was plentiful... I stay here on a regular basis when coming down to head office in BSE - the hotel is nice - it's in its own grounds - smugly off the beaten track but 15 mins from BSE - grub is good - plenty of choice for breakfast - staff are really nice - only draw back is water pressure on... More

I regularly use this hotel when I work away from home. I have seen previous reviews which are damming, but although this hotel is not always 100%, the staff are friendly, the food is delicious and never fail to accommodate my gluten free dietary requirements. The rooms may need a little tlc but are clean and in general The Grange... More

Ignore the reviews that are derogatory to the hotel! We read them after we booked and were tempted to cancel because of them but went ahead. We had room 1, a suite, and it was a large room, well furnished, extremely clean, well laid out. It had a sofa and a chair, huge TV, desk, dressing table and a massive... More

This is a great place to stay if you like small & friendly hotels. There is the old Grange house with lovely old rooms with lots of character accessed by the grand staircase, only two floors of rooms and not too many stairs. The added bonus are the chalets that are located just outside the main house and look out... More

Booked late and just put in bury st Edmunds and this looked quiet and quaint. A bit far out but worth it clean and comfy but the dinner menu is great and a fantastic omelette at an excellent price. Triple cooked chips great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plumbing old looking but works

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted with a car park strewn with litter and scratch cards. We were confused if we had arrived at the hotel, there is not sign in the car park or on the hotel itself, although it is a very attractive building. The welcome from the reception desk was surly, we had booked on... More

Generally our stay was very enjoyable. We had a large en-suite room, with a 5ft bed, a small sofa and armchair and a large TV. It was clean and well furnished. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good, particularly the breakfasts. The hotel also has a patio area overlooking the attractive garden. Our only... More

Booked this hotel as near the Hengrave Hotel as we were attending a wedding reception. The venue looked grand from the outside but we were given room 14 it was no bigger than a cupboard with a shower toilet in a even smaller hole. Very disappointing could not really spend time getting ready as no space no place to put... More

NIce location! Do I need a code for the h? - "Oh sorry, you won't get WiFi in the cabins", we only have WiFi in the main building! So to the room; air-con... nice! 5 light switches in the room - only 2 work I went out for dinner as I didn't really want to give them any more encouragement.... More
