Love the lavender tea & the farm is beautiful. Something that I will not be able to experience in my home country. Room was a comfortable size. But, as we only book for a 1 night stay after a day shopping at Dessert Hills PO, so, cannot really commend much on other stuff. House keeping can be further improved as...

I Loved everything about Highland Springs. Everyone at the place was beyond helpful and friendly. There definitely is some work that can be done on the historic place, but overall it's a lovely escape from the city. We stayed in the 100's Cottage rooms and they were perfectly sized and very cute. In the morning there was a power outage...

Rustic is a kind description of the Highland Springs "Resort." This property is extremely run down and in need of millions in repairs, even the rooms that have been renovated. They are charming but remain musty with old bathrooms, unlocking windows with no screens and smelly. The exterior of the hotel is peeling with paint and cobwebs and many of...

Stayed here after a wedding. The price was much better than the almost $300 Morongo hotel. The rooms are quite rustic, very basic, but it served its purpose. No TV, bed too soft, but did have AC that kicked butt. If you need a nice quiet place to stay for not a lot of money, this is your place.

If you are looking for a weekend escape back into the time of simple days in the countryside, this is a good choice. The accommodations are adequate with good beds and bathroom facilities. It is an old, working ranch that reminded us of our childhood summer camp days. Everything is rustic. We went up for the Lavender Festival and spent...

We only stayed at the resort for a wedding. The rooms had ants and were in very bad shape. The bath tub coating was peeling. The bathroom fixtures were very worn and dated. The sprinkler system sprayed water against our room window from 1am to 2am. The walls on one side of the room were so thin it sounded like...

This place is very rustic. We stay in a room that was built in 1921. If you like the country you'll like this place. The room I wish would of been more cheery. Better curtains and some flowers. The bluefly picture on wall was nice. I suggest getting a upgrade room if your looking for more modern. The Restuant was...

We decided at last minute to try the Grand Oak at the Highland Springs resort for Sunday Brunch and as on other occasions the menu choices although limited are just excellent, the chef Stefan Weck is a German kitchen genius. We ordered for the Main (Entree) the Newport Lamb Navarin and the Grand Oak Burger, both superb and the Apple...

I went to the "resort" for a wedding. The grounds are of historic interest (my teenage sons liked them and said they had a "Shining" kind of feel), and the setting is quite beautiful. I saw a number of herons. Otherwise, I have nothing good to say about the place. The room I was put in was NOT CLEAN. It...

Dear Guest, I am sorry to hear of the problems you experienced during your recent stay at our resort. We agree that the usual standards of services were not met in this instance. Though we do not usually rent these rooms to our guests, we agreed to rent out several of our un-renovated rooms due to the bride’s request to...

Visited this property for a wedding, decided to stay overnight after the event at 4 PM It is a nice size facility, many different settings for weddings could be accomodated. The room we stayed was a good size, and beds comfortable. The big but is when considering the condition of the rooms, hallways, and landscape...there is a great deal of...
