Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Nice old building, Even though is in front of a street it is very quiet. Very small room as well as the bath room. Small bed french style. Very convenient to explore the area (Cap Frehel, Fort La Latte, ........). Nice owner, speaking only French but very helpful anyway. Would recommend.

My friends and I stayed 2 nights here at Le Bon Cap and had a delightful time. Our host and hostess couldn’t have been more helpful or charming. Our host even drove us to and from dinner in La Sable D’Or as there is nowhere to eat in Plurien. Our rooms were clean and well set out and my bathroom was modern and a delight - even two shower heads! The breakfast buffet had fresh fruit, cereals, nice yoghurts, croissants and a small but well done selection of cold meats and cheeses. A real treat was the fresh orange juicer that you operated yourself to get truly fresh juice. A peaceful village with a lot in the surrounding area. Would heartily recommend this 2 star hotel

We spent 4 nights here in June 2018 (we paid £35 pppn for B&B). We received a very good welcome. As others have said, the bedrooms are on the small side but they have everything you needed and our en-suite bathroom was spacious. Cleanliness was very good and the owners were pleasant and helpful with an interesting sense of humour!. Luckily our room was on the hotel car-park side as the village main road at the front was in the process of being totally re-made (Route Barre) with completion due circa the end of June 2018. This work did not present a problem for access to the rear of the hotel. Breakfast was good with the buffet being replenished all the time. The only drawback is the lack of a restaurant in the village but there are several good ones within a five minute drive. We would stay again if in that area.

Stayed the one night at this budget priced two star hotel. Rooms were rather small and no restaurant. The restaurant in the village had also closed down so it is a five minute drive to the coast for restaurants. Hotel was clean, easily accessible and plenty of parking. Good value for money hotel.

This little hotel is terrific. The owners give a warm welcome and are eager to chat and make sure everything is going well. The room is very clean, if compact. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was delightful - lots of hot water, plenty of water pressure. Everything was spotless, nothing lacking. The breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choices. Excellent coffee, yummy jams. There is nothing luxurious about the hotel. But to meet your basic hotel needs, this can't be beat.

The hotel owner is very nice and friendly - he meets the guests himself. The are several storeys in the hotel, but there isn't any elevator, so if your luggage is big and heavy, that could be a problem. The rooms are clean, but very, very small. Plurien is not at the seaside, however, you should ask the owner for bicycles. There are two electrical bicycles for rent - much fun if you haven't ridden such thing before. For additional pay you can get a great breakfast - the owner serves not only coffee and croissants, but also eggs, cheese, meat and fruits. To sum up, the hotel is good, but I felt a bit claustrophobic in that small room.

We stayed two nights in this in this excellent hotel. The owner is a true gentleman and nothing is too much trouble. The bedroom is very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and again very clean. If you want real French hospitality this is the place to stay.

The hotel is clean, quiet and not expensive (one night in a double 60€, with no breakfast). The owners are extremely gentle. For sure I recommend it if you are looking for an accommodation in the area.

A good small hotel Husband spoke good English; wife spoke none. Both very friendly. Our room was at the front but there was no passing traffic at night so it didn't' matter. The room was very small but clean and tidy. Unfortunately, on one night I could hear someone snoring in another room. Breakfast was excellent - produced from local ingredients. Virtually nothing was open in the village during our stay other than a Sports Bar; however, on the Friday of our stay there was a street market which was the last of the season. They finished at the end of August. If looking for somewhere to stay in this area you could do a lot worse.
