We spent two nights here and were made very welcome by Les and Judy. Our room was lovely and looked out on to the front. We enjoyed a large breakfast which set us up for the day. If we were in the area again we would certaiinly rebook.

That B&B was recommended by friends and we were so delighted by the place. The en-suite double bedroom was fantastic: clean and roomy with a comfortable double bed. We, my family 2 young boys my husband and mother in law, stayed in the Steadings B&B for one night on our way home from Stirling. Less and Judy, who recently took over, were Excellent hosts! A short tour of the Borders and we stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely welcome, high quality twin en-suite room and great breakfasts. Very reasonable prices to boot. Our base to visit Traquair House with its historic Bear Gates, Sir Walter Scott's Abbotsford, Floors Castle, Smailholm Tower, the Border Abbeys, several museums and much more. also nblessed with lovely weather.

What a warm welcome! Sandra and Chris a very friendly hosts! The breakfast, can't be better! We were so happy to found this B&B! Clean and modern rooms! We hope we are able to be back again sometimes! All the best from Marion, Nico & Arnd from Hameln! (The pied piper town)

We had a two night stay here in March. Chris and Sandra, the proprietors were warm and friendly, the breakfasts were wonderful and the accommodation faultless. Can't recommend highly enough. Would definitely stay again.

Stopped here with a work collegue last night after a 6hr journey, didnt get to the b&b till 10:40pm and had a nice warm welcome from the landlord who helped us in and showed us to our rooms. In the morning the lady of the house met us for breakfast early (7:15) for breakfast so that we could get some...

A superb B&B with quality accommodation and superb service. Perfect location for a quite getaway. Kelso and Jedbrugh a short drive and Edinburgh slightly further. Breakfast to die for. A regular used B&B and will be visiting again.

We came in this BnB 8 years ago and came back this August. It's still a very nice place to stay. The rooms are very confortable with TV (and DVD player), en-suite, nice landscape ! As we arrived, we got a cup of tee and piece of cake. The Scottish breakfast was delicious (choice between continental and scottish breakfast). Thanks...
