My boyfriend and I were looking for a beautiful, but remote place to get away and relax for a weekend. We could not have run into anything better than La Bressanella. The house is absolutely breathtaking, located on a farm in a small, quaint town just along the Ticino river. Arrival was difficult from Milan because Italy does not have... More

Very difficult to find and long dirt driveway to the house. The rooms themselves were large but not too comfortable. The breakfast was sparse at best with bought pastries and no fresh fruit which we had at many other B&B's we have stayed throughout Italy. Would not recommend this property

We booked this place at the absolute last possible minute, as we needed someplace to stay for a day before our departure from Milan Malprensa Airport. We decided on it solely on price, and based on the fact that it was relatively near to the airport, as we had a morning flight. I didn't look at any reviews, which I... More

If you want authentic Italy, this is the place to go. Beautiful, clean and spacious accommodation in a lovely setting. We had a room in 'the tower', so a floor with shower room and balcony to ourselves. It is about a 10-15 minute walk into the village where there is a great pizza restaurant with a real character in charge.... More

We decided to stay here while waiting for our flight from Milano. Just wanted to rest, have a place with garden and a pool. And we chose well. The owner was very friendly and willing to help. He gave good advice how to reach the airport. The room was very big and clean, bathroom was nice. Very good if you... More

We stayed in this B&B for 5 nights. Price and quality are well balanced. The pool is nice and very clean. Very friendly host. Breakfast is typical Italian. The B&B is located in a very quiet environment and is 15 km from the Lago Maggiore.

This is the perfect place for those arriving or departing from Malpensa as it is reasonably close to the airport yet in a truly tranquil setting. The rooms are meticulously clean and spacious, and the entire establishment beautifully furnished without being pretentious. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the well kept gardens surrounding the building. The hosts are exceptionally... More

We stayed at La Bressanella for just one night before an early flight from Malpensa. Our host was extremely friendly, helpful, funny and considerate. The house itself is beautifully restored and kept in a pristine state of cleanliness, both inside and outside. Very comfortable room, a big bed, very nice bathroom and everything worked perfectly. As many here on this... More

Stayed here the night before our flight in the am to US. Wish we had stayed longer...it is a bit tricky to find (you could benefit with a GPS) in Pombia which is about 20 minutes from the airport...but it is well worth the trouble to find. The owner was wonderful. The place divine in the country with a pool... More
