Almont City Hotel used to look outdated and gloomy but they have made major renovations recently making the hotel look fresh and homey. I loved the use of gray for the walls accentuated by green, teal, white, black and brown for the curtains, carpet, furniture, and decors. The new chandelier looked absolutely gorgeous especially at night when it's lighted. The...

We booked one night layover through Booking. When we got there it was the construction site. We did not receive any notification to offer to cancel the booking or information about the proposed alternative. It took few enquiries before finally the security told us to go to Almont Inland hotel. There were no other signs or instruction on hotel premises....

This hotel is not hard to find, you can easily see this in the heart of the city. Near the cathedral church and Guingona park (former Plaza park). This is spacious room to stay-in. At your room, you will see the busy street and people visiting the park. Also the front desk is very friendly.

I just checked out from Almont City Hotel where I was booked by my client. I did not expect much and would have chosen not to complain seeing a dead cockroach by the door and being informed that the airport transfer which came with the room package will leave the hotel only 1 hour before my flight. I booked a...

I stayed here solo for 3 nights. I booked here because I find the location very accessible to malls, churches and fast foods. It offers convenience especially when you're not familiar in the city. Upon check-in, their staffs are very accommodating and helpful. The food also is very good and its inclusions are worth the price of P2,700/night.

If not for their staff I would rate this hotel, Terrible. Yes, it's located at the heart of the city but really 2,700p per night for a very old hotel with no elevator/escalator? Will never go back here.

I am a regular guest of this hotel for over two years now mainly because of their friendly staff and great location. This is my first time to try their single room (P1,500) and its terrible. Too small, lots of mosquitoes, and its very noisy. Something tells me this is the last time I am checkin-in at this hotel. Noise...

Had an overnight stay in this hotel and it surprised me when we checked in because the room was great and clean. The hotel outside looks old but its actually the opposite inside. Its actually a great hotel within city proper. They also have great staff service. Price is worth the stay.

Mindanao, especially Butuan, is less touristy than the rest of the Philipines. So it is harder to find a accomodation with western standards. But this hotel does meet these standards: - spacious well decorated lobby - staff speaks english very well - breakfast is good - wifi is good and at the rooms ok - Rooms have enough space, are...
