We went with family and had a scrummy meal, special offfer menu 2courses for £13.95, my goodness the choice was extensive and all that we choose was delicious. Just lovely resturant ...doesn't look like much from outside but you have try it. We loved our meals ...3 courses ..couldn't fault it. Really good food in nice surroundings.We were the only ones on at first but and this added to the charm.

First class food and service as always. We had lunch and even though the place was extremely busy we had no wait at all, lovely meal, would highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Will be returning again soon!

We visited her for my birthday treat, it was quite a surprise inside, much bigger and smarter than the impression the outside gave. I have a friend that stays in Stranraer, and while visiting the area, he suggested that we should come to Tigh Na Mara, as the food is outstanding. He was not wrong. another visit to tigh na mara for the fixed price lunch as always excellent food at a good price. i always have the starter haddock in filo pastry. lovely bright restaurant at a nice location i have not stayed in the hotel yet as i stay with family in the area

Yet another visit to Tigh Na Mara, and once again were not disappointed. Five star food, including excellent vegetarian choices! Would highly recommend this lovely and friendly restaurant and look forward to our next annual visit for our regular Mull of Galloway holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had dinner with husband here, we had sea bass and duck both meals were of a good standard, veg came separately and was a very small portion to be shared between two. Great Hotel , been their alot , food is first class .Have stayed in hotel also rented cottage both are very comfortable , home from home. Staff are very friendly and can t do enough for u , would certainly recommend this Hotel to anybody . Lovely part of the country , well worth a visit .

We stayed here for dinner, bed and breakfast on a Sunday night in September. The meals were satisfactory and so was our room - the latter was quite small but perfectly clean. The staff were uniformly helpful. During our trip we also spent a night in a B&B in the Mull of Galloway. its price was the same as this... More
