At Palazzo Monaldeschi our hosts, Antonio and Gabriella made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful relaxing break. The room was airy and looked onto the swimming pool so all we had to do was open the French window and we were at the poolside. The pool and the Palazzzo's gardens are completely private and secluded and sitting out with a good book provide the ideal place to chill. Lubriano is a well placed little village for visiting the nearby Medieval towns and other sights. Like Orvieto, Viterbo, Todi and Lake Bolsena to name a few. More

Lubriano is not far from Rome (about 1 hour and 20 minutes by car). It's just in front of Civita di Bagnoregio, the so called 'dying town'.
Palazzo Monaldeschi is an ancient palace, restructured with confortable rooms and a pool, where you may take it easy and spend a weekend of total relax, sunbathing in the garden or swimming in the pool, wandering through the public rooms, full of ancient stuff.
Just in front of the B&B there's a little square which shows you Civita di Bagnoregio and the valley of the 'calanchi'.
If you want, you can take the car and in a few minutes you'll be in Civita.
