Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Superb visit and terrific team. All extremely friendly and keen to help. Facilities were brilliant (shower block, sinks, an amazing farm shop, bike hire etc.) My car battery went dud and one of the team took the time to help find jump leads and get it going again. It was really appreciated. Would highly rate and will definitely come again!

Wow, what a welcome when you arrive. Staff could't do enough for us. So friendly. Really lovely farm shop with local produce. Kitchen to cook pizza and breakfast sandwiches with tea and coffee. Beautiful, clean and well managed site. Just what you need when you are walking the South West Coastal path. Thank you to Matt who helped us level our vans and for lending us extension cables for the electric hook up. I will definitely stay again.

Excellent facilities, continually improving what they have including now having a covered eating section next to the shop - which sells hot food. Enjoyed our time here, even though the weather wasn’t the greatest the views from the top field were great for sunset and it is close to amazing beaches. The only thing I can think of to improve would be if a washing machine/dryer could be installed, but that is very minor and is more for convenience when starting to run out of clothes.

Lovely place to stay, service was brilliant and so was the food. It's a shame that there was no electric hookup in the bell tents but you do get a large battery pack for your phone's. Food was excellent and not expensive The double bed in the bell tent is too small but we were given another bed for the floor for me to sleep on. I would recommend this place .

This was our second stay here and it was just as good as our first. Staff are very friendly, well stocked farm shop, the facilities were immaculate. Lee Bay is lovely, and the grampus Inn is a lovely pub! The tarka trail is on the doorstep, so great for running/walking/cycling. All in all one of the best campsites we've stayed on! Thanks matt!

Lovely campsite Very friendly staff. Great farm shop with the most amazing fresh bread. They also do pizza in the evenings And breakfast rolls in the mornings. They have a surf hire shop on site which was great. And very reasonable. They also hire the wetsuits out as well. The campsite it self was lovely very clean and quiet. I travel with 3 young children on my own so having it quiet at night is good as we’ll need a good sleep. We road out bikes to town along a bike route im not going to lie going there was great. All down hill. Coming back was not fun up hill all the way with 3 children moaning. Beach was about 15 min drive away which was fab.

Fantastic few days at this campsite. Standard electric pitch was huge, easily fit an 8 man air beam tent plus bench & 2 cars. Shower blocks were basic but always clean and plenty of them so even in school holidays never really had to queue. Traditional campsite where kids are encouraged to play during the day, plenty of free space for them to do so. Bike hire on site, very reasonable prices and lovely ride down the Tarka Trail into Ilfracombe. Staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful, site shop really well stocked with fresh local produce and small cafe seemed to do a great trade in breakfasts. The pizza they did on a evening were good value at £12. Plenty of topping and two pizzas fed 4 of us. View from one of the fields of the sun setting is not to be missed. Nearest beach is approx. 10min drive - lee bay. Ilfracombe or Woolacombe beaches 20 min drive away. Def. Stay here again.

Such a fantastic stay at this wonderful campsite. I was a bit concerned travelling alone but the team were such lovely, welcoming, friendly, helpful and genuinely wonderful people I quickly relaxed and had the most amazing time. Of course the incredible walks on the coastal path and the wall to wall sunshine helped my wonderful stay. But the hospitality and welcome I was given was the icing on the cake. For a small campsite everything was taken care of...lovely showers, free ice pack refreshing, wonderful farm shop cooking fresh pizza and lots of other goodies as well as a small but well stock camping shop in Reception...and I haven't even mentioned the absolute treat of watching the sunset set on the sea....thank you Team Lee Meadow I'll be back as soon as I can manage it.
